I want to create an epic Hetalia/Silmarillion/Young Wizards crossover, with a generous dash of the Book of Revelations for flavor and probably stealing some elements from The Last Battle (The Chronicles of Narnia). Basically, the epic battle at the end of the world in which all the warriors of history come together to defeat evil once and for all. This is one of the many things my brain has come up with that I don't even begin to know how to write. Reality imploding isn't very easily translated to prose. One of the more entertaining and comprehensible things that came out of me contemplating this was "Humans have nukes. Elves can sing. So they're about even."
(for those less familiar with the various writings of Tolkien, when particularly gifted elves sing it's entirely possible for them to affect reality. Galadriel Sung the fortress of Dol Guldur into ruin, Finrod Felagund very nearly defeated Morgoth with Song - so yes, powerful elves singing and humans with nukes are approximately equal in destructive capabilities.)
Also I'm debating whether the elven realms would have separate personifications, or if their rulers were their personifications, i.e. Thingol was Doriath, Finrod was Nargothrond, Elrond was Rivendell, etc. It's fairly noticeable that Elvish kingdoms rarely outlast the fall of their primary ruler by many decades. Possibly having separate personifications and rulers was just a consequence of human ephemerality.
