Your assistance please?
If I may bother you all with a few related questions and one unrelated - see if you can spot it
1) I have a pair of pants (100% cotton) that is completely, and I mean COMPLETELY covered in dust and dog/cat hair. But mostly hair. I plan on dunking it into a basin and scrubbing the bejeebus out of it, but is there a smarter way to clean it up?
2) Every con, there is a table at the dealers room that sells various scifi themed patches (along with tshirts and other similar paraphenelia) such as the ones worn on the shoulders of Stargate Command or Umbrella Corporation etc. Does anyone know if they are a local store? or know anywhere I could go to get some patches so I don't have to resort to ebay?
3) Has anyone or their family or knows a guy - got their roof done or other general home contracting work such as kitchen remodeling or window replacements and might be able to recommend someone reliable?
4) A jacket with a label that says 65% polyester / 35% cotton, will it shrink if I try and wash it?
