Got an email from RyanAir today. Our flight from Liverpool has been cancelled and transferred to Stanstead. Woohoo. That's exactly what we were trying to avoid, having to pay for a bus trip back to London from the Northern part of Wales.
Plan B has to be made. Either we accept the transfer and travel back to London to get home or we take our money back and try to get something else worked out from Liverpool. But it has to be done later, like during the weekend when I can sit down and concentrate on things.
Oh well, such is life. The excitements of travelling begin already at home, that's sort of interesting.
Anyway, the said cancellation lead to a very nice (and veery long) phone call to my travelling friend, who I hadn't heard from in a while. It'll be so much fun travelling with her. Although I'm not sure if we'll get more than 4 hours of sleep per night between us, thanks to the endless chatting...
In other words, it seems I can't be annoyed by the change in plans. Only 33 more days of work before the summer vacation begins and that alone is enough to keep me upbeat. We'll figure something out for sure.
