Taken from flowervillage, all credit goes to them. Profile layout goes to mintyapple, and color tables can be found here. Their colors won't be solid: for example, if you're greenish-yellow, you're a good friend becoming best, if you're a dark purple, that means getting to know you but reeeaaally doesn't like you.

: Hate/intense dislike/absolute neutrality

: Acquaintance/getting to know you.

: Friend/talks with.

: Good friend/talks with often.

: BFF/crush time.

: WE ARE FAMILY/dating/this liking feeling is mutual

: LET'S TALK ABOUT LOVE.

CANON RELATIONSHIPS

Tyrell Badd | "Uncle Badd" - In Party
"Still not following directions, I see."

Byrne Faraday's partner, he's been around since Kay was born, and he's family in everything but blood to her. Kay's grateful for the opportunity to spend time with him since he isn't in jail here, and remains blithely oblivious to the fact that he dislikes all of her male companions. She would do anything for Badd, and is planning on asking him about the Yatagarasu and tips when she can find a good opportunity to do so.

Miles Edgeworth
"It sounds as if I'm going to grow up weird, though."

From the time Kay's from, Edgeworth is just like a big awkward slightly pompous brother. Of course, this particular Edgeworth is a kid, so he's now like an adorable less pompous little brother. She had some trouble putting the two together, but she's thrilled to have the opportunity to get to know her favorite prosecutor as a kid, and he is still very much family to her. She'll always look out for him and do her best to cheer him up, or just to be there for him-- they've got dead lawyer dads in common, after all. She's kind of hoping she can teach him how to have fun before he gets older and boring. NEVER DRINK TEAAAAA.

... He still makes the best faces ever.

Phoenix Wright | "Mr. Wright"
"So, if this is Pokemon...there's going to be a LOT more potentially hazardous creatures running around, right?"

Friendly technologically-challenged lawyer who happens to be Kay's favorite defense attorney. She likes his attitude, even if she sometimes has to encourage him into a brighter outlook. He and Kay are fellow dorks who name their Pokémon after dead things-- wait. Kay enjoys his humorous reactions to things, and was the one to unwittingly break the news to him that he has a daughter. With Maya and Trucy gone, she's decided to act as an assistant when he needs one-- since she has such experience and all, and they're the proud grandparents of Flapper and Butch's offspring, something Kay will cheerfully remind him of every time she sees him. Though their relationship seems casual and derpy, she was very upset when she heard that he'd been poisoned and ran all the way back to Violet to make sure he was okay.

Shelly de Killer | "Shelly"
"I have always preferred to stay away from the courtroom."

If Kay wasn't from a world where people had names like "Deid Mann" and "Mack Rell" and "Cammy Meele"-- yeeeah. She might have got tipped off that the guy goes by the name "John Doe", but she didn't, until Pearl revealed the truth. He shares her sentiments about not wanting to grieve too long over loved ones, and he even called that mindset "admirable". And he knew who her dad was and didn't diss him, earning him both bonus points and Kay's curiosity. She asked him about Pearl's accusation and learned the truth, both his real name and his occupation. However, Kay couldn't bring herself to hate or fear him, and so long as he doesn't try to kill anyone here, she's decided that she still wants to be friends with him. They currently have a solid friendship, with Kay keeping his days lively.

Larry Butz | "Mr. Butz"
"If it isn't Edgey's cute sidekick~! Finally, a glint of heavenly light in this dark pit of confusion."

Kay only met this guy once, during the last case she was involved in, but she was so thrilled to finally have someone recognize her that she didn't mind him being theatrical and flirtatious at all. Larry's the kind of guy who makes it easy to get wound up around, meaning that the more these two get to know each other, the bigger the headache the adults are going to wind up with. They've already had their dork moments from the very beginning, and that hasn't changed at all. Kay's pulling for him to get a nice girlfriend, because she likes Larry a lot and thinks he definitely deserves one.

The Judge
"Why, it's been decades since I was enough of a Casanova to pick up 'chickadees' at the beach where my brother and I used to 'hang eleven'!!"

Who DOESN'T like the Judge? Even if Kay didn't approve of him as a kid for unintentionally offering up testimony that only laid more suspicion on Gumshoe as her father's killer, she's since forgiven him for it and enjoys talking to him. They tend to get easily distracted on topic matters, but Kay honestly does respect this man for doing his best to uphold the law.

Kristoph Gavin
"I don't think that there are that many Wrights, Apollos or Gavins in the world."

Another defense attorney who lived in Germany and NEVER PLAYED IN THE SNOW OH GOD. Kay doesn't know him all that well yet, but finds him pleasant and approachable and hopes that he'll be able to see his brother again.

Vera Misham
"After all... we're friends now, right?"

What a nice person! And a good artist, too, and Kay had no problem giving her one of Flapper's eggs to look after. Vera's somewhat quiet, but she's a gentle soul and Kay looks forward to spending more time with her whenever they're in the same city again. She can tell Vera's definitely doing her best.

Iris Fey
"Jamming Ninja? I'm afraid I've never heard of something like that."

She's a nun! Who... has never heard of Kay's favorite show, so she'll be making an effort to try and convert Iris into being a fan without her actually ever having seen an episode. Other than that, she knows she and Dahlia are twins, but Iris is so much nicer and concerned about other people, so she won't hold that first thing against her.

Dahlia Hawthorne
    "Yes, we are twins."

Started off seeming nice, but then Kay found out SHE'D POISONED PHOENIX and yeah, she will never ever ever forgive Dahlia for that and will bring her to justice if it's the last thing she does. You don't mess with her friends.

ROUTE 29 RELATIONSHIPS

Johan Andersen - In Party
"We just have to watch each other's backs is all."

Kay and Johan showed up on the same day and after some confusion, they decided the long road ahead would be better with company, so they set off together! Kay likes Johan a lot; he's friendly, he's just as eager to help, and they've already displayed good teamwork. Occasionally, some of what he says or does confuses her, but he ultimately gained her respect when he didn't point any fingers when she told him she was a thief; he was the first one in this world to learn the full story behind the Yatagarasu, and she learned about his ability to see spirits and his doubts about the Gem Beasts and his friends here. They both share a joy in new discoveries and adventures, and have gotten into the habit of looking out for each other, since it's inevitable that one or both of them will get in over their heads at times. Johan is also under the category of People Kay Will Listen To Without Too Much Argument. Because he often knows what will appeal to her, and it's LOGICAL, so yeah. Kay trusts him with her life and would willingly risk it to protect him.

Crow Hogan - In Party (I think??)
"I'll have you know you have the pleasure of speaking with no one else but the almighty Crow the Bullet-sama!"

Fellow Murkrow-trainer with a great sense of humor and a determined attitude. They're definitely related on some level. Like Juudai, he also wanted in on the Team Rocket take-down idea, and Kay's happy to have his assistance. Crow's easy to joke around with, and it's easy to get their fighting spirits fired up in a matter of minutes. While they were trapped in Sprout Tower, he started to teach her about Duel Monsters-- which she finds kind of complicated, but interesting. Kay can easily understand where Crow's coming from most of the time, and is somewhat amused that he's always scolding her about getting into trouble when she knows he'd usually do the exact same thing. They trust each other, though, and subconsciously, she views him somewhat like an older brother because of just how responsible he is. He's one of her best friends and yet another person who learned about the Yatagarasu, while she learned about Pearson from him. They tend to pull the same stunts, though Crow's definitely more responsible.

Kaito Kuroba - In Party
"Some people say magic is only a step away from thievery."

One of Kay's best friends. They both know there's a subtle link between magic and stealing, and they have an impressive store of cheerfulness that makes it easy for them to converse about most anything. She's not used to being on the other end of teasing, and yet he seems to revel in doing it to her, when they're not gleefully pranking everyone else around them. :| Dammit Kaito. She ended up telling him about how she became the Yatagarasu; that he understood it and her reasons made her realize that they really do have a lot in common. This was proved when she first met Kaitou Kid, and when she finally figured out his identity and he told her everything. Their stories are remarkably similar, and Kay trusts Kaito unwaveringly, meaning she'll also risk everything for his sake and she intends to stick with him just as much as she'll stick with Johan. Plus, it's nice to have someone else who doesn't entirely get the whole children's card game thing.

Saguru Hakuba | "Hacky" - In Party
"Aren't you too young to be a grandmother, Miss?"

A classmate of Kaito's, whom Kaito doesn't really get along with, but he's a travel buddy now! Kay likes him, as he's one of the very few people who likes her nicknames, and is just trying very hard to stop him from being so formal. Easier said than done, BUT SHE'S TRYING, and she does think of Hakuba as a friend. Even if he may or may not be using her to reveal Kaitou Kid's identity. At the very least, she now knows that he knows how to have fun. It just takes some cajoling.

Smoker | "Uncle Smokey"
"White Hunter. I hunt pirates for justice."

Badass old man who isn't Uncle Badd, but Kay's talked to him enough now that she sees him as an uncle here. She thinks his capture of the Pidgey was awesome, and that his Magikarp is just as badass as he is, and also admires the fact that he's a... badass old man who hunts down pirates. Blushes rather easily, which never fails to amuse her, but he's one of the few people she'll listen to when she's being stubborn. She was a little worried about how he'd react to her being a thief, but it ended better than she thought it would, much to her relief. Now he looks out for her and probably scares the shit out of people who might take an unhealthy interest in her.

Juudai Yuuki
"I mean, this whole Pokemon thing can't be much harder than dueling."

Confused her SO MUCH about missing someone fused to his soul, but she decided to spare herself the headache and not ask, and it turns out, Juudai's pretty cheerful himself! Kay most definitely likes his positive and motivated attitude, became curious about him due to their discussions, and learned that they have more in common than they both originally thought. Not only that, but he's Johan's best friend, which says a lot. Kay trusts him with a lot; he's the second person to know about the Yatagarasu's history, after Kay learned about his own history with Yubel. Though Juudai has an occasionally serious side, he's also playful and she appreciates that he doesn't treat her any differently, as a thief or as a girl. Yes. They do have platonic pillow/tickling/wrestling fights. And she's very fond of him, even if she doesn't get to see him as much now that Yubel's shown up.

Sora
"If there's ever been a terrible pun competition, you win by default. "

Kay was friends with Sora's older self, but had no problems befriending him again when he showed up. They've shown the same fondness for horrible puns, with Kay taking on Sora as her apprentice. She finds him to be a strong and chipper kid, loves his Beedrill because he's awesome, and talking to him always makes her grin.

Heather Mason
"Good thing there aren't any icebergs floating around in the flood. That would have sucked. Then we'd have had to watch Leonardo DiCaprio drown and it wouldn't have been pretty."

Kay helped out Luke and Rhode with the flood, and Heather came sailing in on the worst best raft ever and gave them a lift. Kay loves Heather's sense of humor and they often get enthusiastic or "OH MY GOD" over the same things. They're both girls who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what has to be done (by them), and they've grown closer ever since that first time, so that Kay is coming to trust her. At the very least, she's a vigilante bro. YAAAY ANOTHER FEMALE FRIEND.

Jack Skellington
    "I'm looking for ghosts."

Nice, slightly strange guy with a Murkrow, so Kay was destined to like him from the start. She's been offering helpful tidbits of advice, like how to tell his Murkrow's gender, and HOW STUPID THE LEDGES ARE, and they've commiserated over the damn ledges. Every talk with Jack has been a fun one, and Kay really wishes she could drop by and visit his Halloween Town some day. It sounds incredible to her.

Leon
"I don't mind heights--I mind watching others fall off them."

WHY SO SERIOUS, LEON. A stern-faced guy with a heart of gold, Kay has come to view him as an older brother of sorts, which obviously means she causes him heart attacks from time to time, but it's good for him. Somehow. She thinks he's a cool guy who really could stand to smile more.

Shizuo Heiwajima | "Shizzy" (only in her head)
"I don't care what 'they' think."

HE IS SO ANGRY, HE NEEDS MORE HAPPY THINGS IN HIS LIFE. Which obviously means it's Kay's duty to harass him, because she's decided they're friends. Even if he probably doesn't think of them that way. Still, count on her to cheerfully bug him whenever he posts and keep up a bright outlook in the hopes that it'll encourage him to smile one day. She believes in him without faltering, and if he needs help, she'll be there in a heartbeat.

Yayoi Takatsuki
    "You can do it, Yatagarasuman!"

IT ISN'T YATAGARASUMAN. Okay, so Yayoi's a little weird, but she told Kay about Team Rocket, and Kay promised she wasn't going to let them get away with it. She finally managed to clear things up and explain that she was a thief, not a superhero, and just hopes that Yayoi doesn't start calling her Robin Hood. She's a good kid.

Youichi Hiruma | "Batty"
"They don't call me the Playmaker From Hell for nothing, you know!"

Lucky guy had a Houndour and KAY WANTS ONE. But other than that, he's been fun to talk to, even if he curses more than anyone she's ever met, and she admires the fact that he's got a goal back home and lots of conviction to back it up. But he needs to stop calling her "Pipsqueak". SHE IS NOT A PIPSQUEAK. A lot nicer than he acts, and Kay's pleased to know that he really is a good guy deep down, though all his talk about violence and killing things tends to make her flail. Plus, he's promised her an egg whenever he breeds his Houndoom.

Riku
"You mean thieves should have a good reputation? "

Kind of a sarcastic kid, this one, but this hasn't stopped Kay from enthusing at him whenever they talk. Riku seems like a nice guy when he's not teasing her in his own special way, and she's determined to show him the best dramatic entrance EVER.

Remi Altava
"Well, thank you very much, Murkrow Mysterioso!"

FELLOW ASSISTANT, HIIIIII. Kay likes Remi a lot, both for her optimistic attitude and also her penchant for climbing on roofs. It was a beautiful friendship from the start and she can't wait for them to grow even closer.

Yuffie Kisaragi
"Back home they call me the Great Ninja Yuffie Kisaragi, the White Rose of Wutai."

FELLOW NINJA THIEF DERP. These two are a mischievous and easily excitable duo, meaning poor Leon's got his hands full with them. Kay thinks Yuffie is a lot of fun and far from boring, and she's a NINJA, which gives her even more bonus points. They're bound to become super-close buddies, or at least prank partners.

Takeshi Yamamoto
"Haha, I didn't know a place could have a lucky number."

Nice guy who likes baseball and they kind of have dorky conversations, like if places could have lucky numbers or colors. Kay finds him enjoyable to talk to.

The Eleventh Doctor
"Poison's not so bad. I was poisoned once; fixed it with ginger beer, walnuts, and anchovies."

He's... not human? But any guy who can cure poison with anchovies is A-OK in Kay's book and she's pretty fascinated with him. Also determined to find him some delicious medicine when he gets sick so that he knows it exists. Seems to be a friend of Phoenix's.

Beat
"You tryin' out for a tokusatsu or sommat?"

IT'S KAY, NOT YO. I mean. Kay likes him! She thinks he has a valid point about making signs about the damned ledges, and she even learned a new word that she'll probably flub miserably at a later date. He was part of the rescue crew when she got kidnapped, and she'll always be grateful to him for that.

... Plus, he's got a cool name.

Ritsu Souma
"I'm a very bothersome and troublesome person."

Kay can't understand just WHY Ritsu sees the need to apologize so much for things not his fault, but has befriended him and is now going to do everything in her power to get him to break the habit. Also she found out he wasn't a girl. ... Oops.

Luke Triton
"All the more reason to investigate these criminals and bring them to justice."

MINI-EDGEWORTH-- I mean. He's got a strong sense of justice, this one, and he's very polite, though Kay hardly expected their second meeting to consist of her plunging in to save him from drowning. Due to that, she's been more inclined to keep an eye on him, though she's not the type to do any kind of overprotective hovering.

Minnie Mouse
    "You are our hero, Kay."

Fellow kidnapped victim. Kay can sympathize with Minnie, but also highly admires her for being able to escape Tarantulas on her own. She only wishes she'd had that kind of strength and fortitude, and was incredibly surprised when Minnie named her the court hero at the fall festival.

Julius | "Julie"
"... Why are you calling me by a woman's name?!"

This one doesn't talk much and doesn't seem to like his new nickname, but he's a good roof-sitting buddy and this means Kay is going to cheerfully bug him forever and ever.

Grell Sutcliff
"Oh, no no no. They aren't worth my time."

WHAT A NICE AND SMILEY GUY SURELY HE ISN'T UNDERCOVER FOR TEAM ROCKET sob this is going to end so horribly.

Tarantulas
"It's obvious we're not nearly through with each other just yet, my dear."

Kay. HATES. Him. He kidnapped her once and tortured her for a week with his own Pokémon, something that still gives her nightmares, and he STILL TAUNTS HER. She took him down in a battle and brought him to jail and is currently unaware that he's free again. She doesn't like that he views humans as insects to step on and overall, she just does not like this guy at all and will do everything in her power to keep him from hurting anyone else.

Feel free to comment if you want in on Kay's CR list, or just want more with her, or some with her, or-- yeah.
