[EVERYONE IS LEAVING. But unlike Crow, Kaito happens to be close enough to make a beeline toward the inn as soon as he sees the message in an attempt to catch her before she goes.

Soooo as Kay exits the inn, she might see a certain magician friend lurking conspicuously nearby to head her off]

[ Kay halts almost immediately, but the look she's giving him is a pained, almost desperate one. She'd already lost someone important to her because of a betrayal, this is a reminder she could have done without. ]

[He nods at her, his grin returning, before he darts back into the Inn.

And about 6 minutes and 37 seconds later, returns with his backpack in tow, Biz perched on top of his head and Kei following at his heels. BECAUSE WITH TWO OF HIS TRAVEL BUDDIES OFF TO VIOLET, and an old friend who had disappeared for a while on his way there... there is no reason for him not to go, too]

Right! Now all we've gotta do is find Johan.

[ Kay blinks-- yet again, a bit disconcerted. But she seems to realize that arguing isn't going to dissuade him and-- honestly, she's touched. Better to keep a bright mood with human company, after all. ]
