Pairing: KamiNataShi (Kamiki x Kanata x Shida), one-sided YamaShi

Summary: The visits Shida, Kamiki and Kanata made to each other; contains Fangirl!Shida, Protective!Kamiki, Cool!Kanata and Ninja!Yamada.
Note: Sakuraba Nanami is a dubber (and gravure idol lol) who voiced the leading lady in Summer Wars which had Kamiki voice the lead actor. She's cute and they seriously have chemistry XD

Fourth Visit
"But you promised! Mikki, you told me that we will do our assignments today together! You promised!"
Shida Mirai was in a bad mood today. It was summer. Hot. And she didn't have any taping today, which means free time. She should be at a pool or a beach right now. But she's here in front of Kamiki Ryunosuke's house.
And what's worse? She's being denied access to his house. It's as if he's hiding a girl in there or something.
She didn't like this turn of events at all.
"...but we have an unexpected visitor." Kamiki said calmly, trying to pacify the girl.
"You promised!" she insisted.
Kamiki bowed down. "I'm sorry"
"B-but!" she furrowed her eyebrows at his unusual behavior. "Who's the visitor anyway? A girl? A relative? A GIRL?"
Kamiki's eyes widened at her reaction. "Of course it's not a girl! It's..."
"Ryu, what are you-?" Kanata Hongo came out of the house, looking expectantly at Kamiki. He then noticed the frowning girl beside his bestfriend. "Oh Mi-chan. You're visiting him? How sweet..."
Shida didn't falter even a bit. "No! It's just that he promised that we'll do our summer homework together but now he's telling me to go home."
Kanata looked at Shida understandingly then at Kamiki. His smile suddenly grew wider. "How ungentlemanly of my friend. That's not good, right? Come in, Mi-chan."
Kamiki openly glares at Kanata.
The boy simply shrug him off and put an arm around Shida's shoulder. "Let's go."
Shida immediately blushed upon contact.
Kamiki grudgingly went inside.

Kanata went to the kitchen to get them some drinks, knowing that Kamiki would never let him and Shida be alone. He almost laughs at the memory of what Kamiki was doing before Shida came. He wonders if it was the reason why his bestfriend didn't want Shida to come inside.
He sighed, thinking about how clueless the two are.

Shida and Kamiki were glaring at each other again.
"If it's just Hongo-kun, why wouldn't you let me go inside?" she asked. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously. "You're hiding something."
Kamiki looked away. "I'm not."
"You're obviously lying, Kamiki Ryunosuke." her voice was now threatening, scary.
He blushed and looked at her. "You... Just... It's... It's nothing." he finished lamely.
"Sakuraba Nanami-chan was here." Kanata came out of the kitchen, a tray of juice in his hands. "She passed by, asking Kamiki if he auditioned for one dubbing project. She said she wanted to get the part of the leading lady and asked if Kamiki would audition for the leading man."
"So that's what happened..." She narrowed her eyes at Kamiki. "And...?"
"That's all. He might have thought that you'll get jealous since he's alone here and a girl came." Kanata smirked and ignored Kamiki's glaring. Everything he's saying was real, except it wasn't really the reason why Kamiki acted weird at the gate.
"Ah~ Alone with Sakuraba-san huh?" she muttered this with a tone full of suspicion before smiling brightly. "Well, I'm not jealous at all! Why would I be?"
Kanata snickered as Kamiki frowned.

After a few more teasing, Kamiki and Shida finally settled down and did their home works. Kanata sat down in front of them and watched as they battled one question after another. He helped a few times and was also the one who supplied the two with snacks and juice.
When they were done, Kamiki lied down the floor, exhausted. "Ah~ I could live with this."
"Live with what?" Shida asked.
He smiled. "With you as tutor and with Hongo-kun as maid." A flying pillow directed to his face showed the obvious objection of Kanata.
Shida laughed and lied down beside him. "Well~ Hongo-kun is a good maid, ne?" She evaded another flying pillow and signalled for Kanata to lie down beside her. When he did, she took both boys' hands and muttered, "It'll be great if the three of us will be friends forever..."
"Yeah..." the two agreed.

On the other hand, somewhere in Tokyo, a certain Yamada was interogating Irie Jingi.
"You won't do your homework with them today?"
"I have a photoshoot so Mirai-chan went to Ryu's house alone."
"ALONE?!"
"Yes. Yamada-kun, don't yell."
"You let Mi-chan go there alone?"
"It's not as if Ryu will do anything bad to her. Seriously, they've been friends since forever. Why are you so worried? Besides, they're not alone. I just heard from Ryu that Kanata-san is there too right now."
"..." Yamada clenched his fists. "Thanks, Irie-kun. Bye."
Grrr... That boy again...
Fifth Visit
Kamiki and Shida sat on the bench outside the recording studio, side by side. They were taking a break from dubbing.
It was Shida's first time to dub. She felt scared, nervous and had a hard time concentrating. Good thing Kamiki was there to support her, and so she got the gist of it in no time.
"You act amazingly, Mi-chan. You can do this. It's just like acting, except you're not on the screen. Instead of thinking of your own movements, think about your character's movements. Look at her. Feel her." this was his words to her when she was already at the end of her patience. She thought she couldn't do as much as he can. He's a senpai in this area, and Shida was afraid that Kamiki will just be dragged down by her. She thought 'maybe Nanami-chan's better'.
Kamiki had laughed when she said that. "Nanami-chan isn't for this role, that's why they chose you over her. Arriety is tough and strong-willed. She's independent. So you have to be like her, ne? Be confident! You can do this!"

Shida smiled upon remembering his words. He's so sweet and encouraging when he wants to. Tsk, if only he could be like that all the time.
"What are you smiling about?" Kamiki asked, looking at her.
She shook her head and said, "Nothing". She then laid her head on his shoulders and whispered, "Thank you for always helping me up ne, Mikki"
He smiled and whispered, "And thank you for always smiling and making my day."
She laughed and playfully pinched his cheeks. "You're as much of an idiot as your best friend."
"I know. That's why we're best friends." he said. His eyes turned a little sad, but not enough for Shida to notice. He tried to cover it with a smirk. "But aren't you our best friend too?"
"...sometimes." she said, stucking her tongue out. "But I'm not as stupid as you two."
"Yeah, and besides you're not in love with your self. That's why you're different." he muttered.
Shida blinked. "What was that?"
He shook his head. "Nothing~"
She pouted. "Tell me~" she pinched his cheeks again, a little harder this time.
"Ah!!! Ouch! Stop it, Mi-chan!" he said before pinching her cheeks too as revenge.
"Hm~ I just left the two of you alone and you go flirting with each other."
The two looked up and let go of each other. "Hongo-kun!"

The three of them went to a cafe near the studio. They exchanged greetings and asked how each were doing. Kanata teased the two repeatedly, while Kamiki easily dodged each and got back to him by teasing him back.
"Hmpf, seriously, don't tease each other to me when I'm right in front of you. I don't understand you guys. Don't you have any other girls you can tease with each other?" she asked with a sigh.
"Well, there's a lot but he doesn't like them as much as he likes you." The two boys said at the same time.
Shida blushed and narrowed her eyes at the two. "Don't gang up on me, Mikki, Hongo-kun."
Kanata shrugged and said "We're not ganging up on you. Just saying the truth." his eyes then become teasing. "Come to think of it, who do you like better? Me or Ryu?"
"Yamada-kun!"
"Huh?!" their eyes widened at her.
"...no, I mean, Yamada-kun's outside right now. There." she pointed to the boy who was about to enter the cafe.
Kamiki and Kanata sighed in relief. They greeted the boy and offered him a seat.
Yamada said he wanted to visit Shida and Kamiki but saw that they weren't in the studio. Shida smiled brightly and thanked Yamada for being so sweet. Kamiki and Kanata obviously frowned at her reaction.
They talked about things. About their TV projects, their school, Amuse, Stardust and JE. The two non-Johnny's boys mourned the loss of the beautiful chance they had before Yamada came. But oh well, they'd just have to wait again.

A sudden call made Yamada go back to the jimusho, which meant that the three were alone once again. They sat side by side by the bench where the two were sitting earlier.
"Shida-chan, the director's calling for you." a staff called out. Shida excused herself and hurried to the studio.
A comfortable silence settled in. They just sat there, both waiting for Shida to come back.
But then, Kanata spoke up, taking this chance that she wasn't near.
"So... Yamada-kun likes Mi-chan?"
"..." Kamiki blinked before muttering, "Obviously yes."
"And we're letting him?" Kanata looked at the sky which was getting dark already.
Kamiki frowned and said "B-but you can confess anytime you want. I know you're ready. You want to too. Don't worry about me."
Kanata looked back at Kamiki, a serious expression on his face. "We promised to do this fairly. I let you borrow that sewing book so you can make her something to tell her you like her. I know you're too much of a coward to say it personally. We need to do it the same time."
"I'm not a coward..."
"Then say what you feel."
"B-but she likes you and you like her... and I love the two of you so you should be happy together."
Kanata laughed out loud. "She likes you too though. And I would be happy if the two of you end up together rather than another guy being her boyfriend."
"She likes you more, you know that."
"Do you even know how much she likes you?"
"Do you know how much she likes you?"
They were facing each other, provoking each other. They knew that Shida liked them. But who does she like more...? Who would she end up with?
"Guys! Sorry to keep you waiting~" Shida came running to them. She looked from one boy to another, wondering if something happened while she was gone. She then shrugged it off and sat in between the two.
"So..." Kanata spoke up first. "Ne, Mi-chan, would you answer our question earlier? Who do you like more, Ryu or me?"
She raised her eyebrow at the two pairs of inquiring eyes prodding her. "Seriously?" she sighed. "Why do I have to choose? Didn't you say so, Mikki? That you want to live with the two of us by your side forever. I want to too. If I could be with the two of you forever, I would be the happiest person!"
The two boys smiled. "Maa, if our princess says so~ We should make her the happiest person, ne?"
Confessions can come later. For now, they're contented. Because this. This moments with the three of them, it's more than enough. It's happiness already.
