A Foot Saga Update

So I went to the hospital this morning to get injected with the dye so they could do their bone scan of my foot and see if it lit up or not.

1. Dear doctor, you're lucky my mother was there and knew my medical history, because you asked nothing about my history, other than if I was pregnant or not.

2. Dear doctor and mother, thank you for not telling me that the dye may have caused anaphlylactic shock. Although, second though, that probably was a good thing so I didn't Mega Freak Out.

3. Dear doctor, when I say my foot is hypersensitive, it does not mean shove my foot everywhere and put your hands all over my foot. Seriously, what part of hypersensitive do you not get?

Although, my foot lit up like a Christmas tree which makes me feel a lot better, because it's proof that I'm not crazy, and I had a feeling that the specialist I'm seeing was going to blow me off if nothing showed in my bone scan. So I'm actually quite relieved. (Which to normal people probably sounds ridiculous, but after having x-rays, CT scans, and multiple MRIs, and this bone scan, I just want the damn diagnosis so I can get on with my life, even if it is a bit different.)

If the doc didn't make my foot feel even crappier, I'd go to school as I do have time to get there, but I don't have the energy or the tolerance for the added pain. But I plan on doing my homework. :)

BTW, does anyone like my icon?

crps, broken foot, rsd
