Reservations - The BIG ISSUE

The Fact Sheet:

"A new policy, if implemented, will take the overall reservation in central government-funded higher education institutions to 49.5% from the current 22.5% for SC and ST students.

Can anyone imagine how many individuals does a ganeral category candidite have to compete against, for a single seat in any educational insti (Government and Private). The implication of the increase in the reservation for the so-called backward classes will be DEVASTATING.We have to raise voices...We are planning a protest March in Bangalore in MAY.
