everyone's beautiful
okay... so 'hotel rwanda' is right up there with 'schindler's list' for me... still reflecting and deciding what to do in response to the film.
today is national administrative professionals day (PC way of saying secretary appreciation day) and so on the marquee sign out front, the ministers put "we honor our assistants jennifer, lil, margaret, and ashley". i about drove off the road when i saw it!! so sweet. they also gave us all flowers and took us to lunch (i drove the other assistants, which was fun; it's been a while since i drove with more than one other person in the car with me!). :o)
my mom comes to visit next weekend! yay. she's going to come in to Ohio to meet Aaron's family.
i've lived in nashville for 6 months.
on Saturday, Aaron and i will have been together 9 months.
i pray God has someone as amazing as Aaron for every single woman that i know.
recently i've been reading through old journals (old as in from 2000 and on) and i'm contemplating posting some of my entries... i struggle with feeling like i wasted a good portion of my life, but i know that God worked in those years and that He made me to be the person i am through all the struggles and pain. but if i can help other girls recognize the signs of an unhealthy relationship and help them avoid the same cyclical mistakes i made, that would be really awesome. so i'm praying about it and we'll see what happens.
i got my new relevant magazine. hoorah! Moby is on the front and there's a like, 6 page interview with him. sweet-ah.
