wut? an update?
Hi! It's been twenty weeks (give or take) since my last update, so here we go!
I hurt my wrist very badly at the Pig. It was very busy, and I rolled it wrong. I told my supervisor and she didn't do anything for an hour and a half later, and by then I couldn't feel my fingers (which were swollen) and my wrist hurt so much that I couldn't use it at all. I still finished out my shift. The doctor said that I strained it, have tendinitis and the beginnings of carpal tunnel. I had to wear a brace for a few weeks, and couldn't check during that time, so mu hours were cut and I just worked courtesy counter.
I applied to a convenience store in Tim-town and got a job there. They called me on the first day of what ended up being ten days off at the Pig, so I never went back. So far, I like the job. It's much more laid back, and it doesn't hurt my wrist like checking does.
My cousin, Chelsea, got married, so Gramma and I flew out to Salt Lake City, Utah for the reception. We couldn't go to the wedding ceremony in the temple because we are not Mormon. We had a good time. Chelsea was a STUNNING bride. Absolutely gorgeous. The colours were chocolate brown, soft pink, and creme.
We (Tim, Mama Beth, Mama Linda, and I) moved me to Tim-Town on Sunday. I dropped a dresser on my foot (after dropping a hefty paper shredder on it a few days before). My dainty little toes have red-brown bruises. But I am (mostly) all moved in! Yay! I still have half a dozen boxes to unpack. I have a feeling a lot will go in storage.
Also, CARA LEFT AND WENT TO WASHINGTON AND THAT MAKES ME SAD.
