I've been keeping myself pretty busy lately (funny how unemployment does that). Right now, I'm brainstorming a fundraising campaign for the 2012 production of Tulpa, or Anne&Me.

What would help me is working with a small group of people committed to making Tulpa 2012 happen. I'm looking break up that $3,000 goal between 5-10 people (more always helpful) who are willing to make consistent effort toward reaching their part of the goal. For example, if there were 6 of us, each of us would be responsible for raising $500.
This is actually not difficult. At this level, you don't need any special skills or experience. You don't even have to be in New York. But you do need to set aside a little bit of time to do it. I really don't want anyone to pay out of pocket or make this into a full-time job. This really shouldn't be stressful, but fun and challenging.
These are the main things that need to happen:

- Building relationships with organizations with missions, values, and goals compatible with Tulpa 2012
- Drafting e-mails to friends and family soliciting donations and keeping them posted about the progress of the campaign
- Integrating social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LiveJournal, etc.) into the fundraising process
I can't offer payment or anything like that, but if we make this happen, I can offer . . .
- a letter of recommendation
- donor perks in accordance to how much money you raise
- mad props in the playbill
- support for your work
