2007: Reflecting

Dec 31, 2007 17:18

2007 was a big year for me.
So much changed so quickly in a span of one year.
I would have to say, this was a year of positive change.

In 2007:
I quit radio shack(thank fucking god).
I finished three semesters of school and proved to my self that i could be a great student.
I quit tumbleweed.
I seriously kicked my ass on trombone.
I got a new job at TS.
Made a lot of new friends.
Reconnected with my Japanese side.
Started using my Japanese again.
Made peace with some scars of the past.
Moved out of 84 Allston to 24 Haviland.
Made my parents happier.
Got better at financing.
...And probably alot more things i just cant think about.

I would say this is the first time in 4 years where i can bring in the new year as a pretty happy guy.
I'm not going to lie; there were some baaad things that happened in 2007, but i feel that i resolved those issues more maturely and independently then ever before.

For 2008.
I want to quit smoking.
Practice more trombone.
Practice more bass; i've been lazy and i need to regain my chops.
Re-find someone i can connect to.
Continue my assault on my dual-major.
Live healthier; eat better, sleep more, and feel better.
Create a better self image of myself.

Well 2007, it's been a great time.
Good luck to myself for next year.
