Tackey & Tsubasa 10th Anniversary in Tokyo Dome 9/9
The first thing I saw were tons of colorful balloons everywhere spread out, saying "T T" and "10". There weren't any arena seats (kinda of reminded me of Waku Waku Gakkou's set up). Plus there were two big "work" cranes to lift the guys up in these white cages.
Well to start with, although I like Tackey and Tsubasa's music very much, by no means do I remember all of their songs. I'll probably just mention the ones I know. Also there were SO many juniors running around (both ones I knew and a bunch of little ones) that it reminded me of a Johnnys Countdown, but more hyper.
The show started and they came out after various Juniors gave messages to Tackey and Tsubasa.
The dance for "Yume Monogatari" was fun to copy. As one of the juniors went down off the stage, he tripped and nearly fell over. ^_^ "Venus" was also very fun! During "Jikan Ryokou", one of the juniors put his head on Tackey's shoulder and Tackey patted him, but to get him to move away, he flicked his hair and grinned at his surprised face.
"Can Do, Can Go" had an adorable video playing on the main screen of chibi Juniors (i.e. Arashi!!) during the song. Gotta look for that one later.
Later, KisMyFt2 played with Tackey as he rode a four-wheeler motor bike to center stage. For his solo, he did a fun dance with pink pom-pom fans. Right at the end, one of the juniors stepped forward to do it alone, making us laugh.
Then four motorcycles came out. Tackey hopped back on his four-wheeler and they had a bit of a race around the dome. When two of the bikers got off, Tackey went to fight them and stole one of their motorcycles. KMF kept cheering him on while the bikes followed him and they did several big jumps of ramps, complete with fireworks.
A piano appeared on center stage and it was time for a slow song ("Kiseki") with flying. He glided up to the top of the main screen, holding up a small torch to light up a bigger one. Like the light blossomed outwards, the juniors pulled off the black screens covering the "juniors mansion" on the sides one by one. It was very pretty.
For Tsubasa's solos, he and some of the juniors marched out, some with flags, and did a few dance numbers ("Get Down" and "Axel").
"Za ABC 5 Stars"! "ABC" and "She Her Her" were fun. I preferred the latter because Tackey and Tsubasa came back out to dance with them. After "Kamen" and "One Day, One Dream", I think it was "To Be, To Be, Ten Made To Be" that T&T were on separate corner stages and the juniors were dancing behind them. It looked REALLY cool in the red lighting.
In "Ai, Check It", T&T went up in the crane cages, came back down to pick up two KMF members, and switched to the fake "T&T"s who jumped onto the mats at the end. I liked the rap parts that KMF sang. The stand-ins jumps, but "Tackey"s was really high up! KMF asked them, "Are you okay?!" T&T answered back, "It's dark here! Where are we?"
"Ho- Summer" was hilarious. There were two water canals that were parallel from the main walkway. The spotlights shown on Tackey, who was wearing a pink inflated tube and holding a pink Japanese style umbrella, and Tsubasa, who let himself get soaked when the fountains shot up. Tackey cowered under his umbrella while Tsubasa ended up taking a shower. The little juniors were wearing swim trunks and playing in the water with Tsubasa. He did several silly dances. Afterwards, he put on a leopard print bathrobe. Tackey pulled on a t-shirt.
T: Good evening. We're Tackey and Tsubasa!
Ta: This is even better than last night!
T: We can see you well, thanks to the lighting.
Ta: So on September 11th, it'll be our 10th anniversary.
T: We made it to 10 years because of all the fans. These 10 years can't be summed up with a single phrase. But I can tell you... that I love Tackey more now than ever.
Tackey made a hilarious kissy face while we laughed and cheered him on.
T: Starting at Tokyo Dome, we'll go to Fukushima, Tohoku, everywhere that we can to meet the fans.
Ta: It's the fans that make us want to express how grateful we are, as much as we can.
T: We've got a new album coming out. We asked the fans what songs they liked and they choose "Real DX". It's a song from before we even debuted, so we know that the fans have been supporting us for a long time.
Ta: Also there was "Kaiki Club".
T: You know, they're making a new "Kaiki Club". (Something was mentioned about having to wear school uniforms for a new drama being filmed. May not have been T&T related though.) Would you like us in school uniforms?
Us: Yeah!
T: I wouldn't mind boy's uniforms... or girl's sailor uniforms.
Ta: That'd end up like a love drama between the two of us. It'd be weird!! Why would we have to do that?!
Us: Whooo~!!
Ta: Well, that's nothing that's decided on anyway....... Eh?
Tsubasa turned to the crowd: It's up to you. If you request it to the agency...
Ta: Really. We'll do it.
We cheered again.
Tsubasa smiled at Tackey: Kind of makes you embarrassed, doesn't it?
Tackey tried to his sheepish grin by looking away.
Ta: There are various news related people here tonight, but then we end up talking about making a romance drama. (^_^) Well, we do want to do as many new things.
T: Of course. We have a new commercial out.
Tackey held up the compact make-up kit that came with a T&T seal on it.
Ta: Should I open it? (He started to take off the outer plastic part, but stopped to mess with it.) It's really soft. This part is nice too.
He pulled out the lipstick, held it up, stared at it for a second, then slowly brought it closer to kiss it. >_< Next, he took of the seal part and slide it inside.
Ta: Now you can enjoy having T&T all to yourself.
He did an impression of a girl putting on make-up while staring down at the picture, making a funny face while doing it.
They spoke briefly about stage plays and a live radio show they'll be doing soon.
T: Let's introduce our friends.
KMF, ABC, and Yuuma came out. T&T immediately zeroed in on Yuuma.
T: Which of us do you like better?
Y: ...Eh???
Ta: Yesterday, you said you'd tell us. Try to decide while we're talking today.
Y: ...Okay.
T: So how was dancing out there tonight.
ABC member (I think it was Kawai): For us, it always feels different than usual.
They mentioned the ABC-Z DVD coming out and Tsukada interrupted, but everyone teased him about his voice being so much higher than everyone else.
Tsukada: Even if there are other people there, if T&T are there too, it feels like home.
Ta: Not that we even talked to each other at the time.
Tsukada: It's just the atmosphere. It's a good atmosphere. And now we're at T&T 10th anniversary concert in Tokyo Dome.
All: We know.
Tsukada: My impression of them is that Tackey is sexy while Tsubasa has a strong male presence.
T: A strong male presence?
Ta: Tsukada-kun, are you drunk?
Tsukada: No, I'm just too excited. My brain and my body can't keep up with each other.
T: Let's go to the hospital then. ^_^
I think it was Hashimoto that brought up the next topic.
Ha: During Playzone, we (him and Tsubasa) were always together. And we always did the same greeting.
Tsubasa said very slowly and sweetly, "Hashimoto-kun."
Hashimoto said it the same way. "Tsubasa-san."
Then together they said cutely, "Yoroshiku~".
They'd gotten bored with usual greetings and had used that one the whole time.
We got to see various dance impressions too. Originally, it had been joking about how enthusiastic they'd danced earlier, but then requests started flying.
Jr 1: That was MatsuJun, wasn't it?
Jr 2: No, MatsuJun is more like this. (He swung his head around more.)
Jr 3: How about SMAP's Kimura?
Jr 2: Like this. (He made an angry face and swung his head "aggressively".)
Jr 4: How about Michael Jackson?
Jr 2: Eh?? Michael? ... Um, I don't know.
The talk switched to KMF.
T: Since when did you become a four member group?
The other three were doing the "Dream Boys" stage play, so couldn't be there tonight. When they promoted "Beginners", Kitayama saluted to us and Fujigaya talked about the drama.
Ta: I was watching it on TV.
Kita: During the "To be" dance, Ta-Takizawa-san -
They all started to argue about what the juniors really called Tackey, which wasn't Takizawa-san.
Kita: That dance... It's one we know well and it was with T&T, so it felt comfortable.
Tsubasa turned to the other two that hadn't spoken yet: Nikaidou-tachi.
Yokoo: Why didn't you just say both of our names?
T: Yokoo-kun, Nikaidou-kun. I heard you did a stage play.
Yokoo: Yes, but we didn't do any fighting.
The story had something to do with relations between humans and aliens? They wanted to know if T&T would come to see it, but even though they said yes, it didn't seem like they actually would. ^_^
T&T were just about to announce that they were going to go back stage to get change, but they spotted Yuuma and stopped. They began to pester him again for an answer to their previous question.
Y: .... Eh??
Ta: He's already very adult-like. Doesn't want to come right out and say it.
Y: I like you both...
T: So... which do you better?
Y: I like Imai Hideaki. (They all laughed at his answer. He back and forth between them.) Kore ga genkai desu. (Or "That's as best an answer as I can give.")
Ta: What a nice guy.
Y: I really do like you both.
Kita: Why are you only asking Yuuma-kun? You should ask us too!
T: He's cool. (They complained a bit.) So you're filming a drama now?
Y: Yes. It's interesting....... Is it okay if I promote it?
T&T: Just like that?! Go ahead.
Y: On TBS, "Bakushou Gakuen" will be starting. Marius-kun and I will be regulars on the show. Oh, and "Piece" will begin soon too. Please watch them.
Now that they'd finished talking, T&T finally went to get changed.
The Juniors continued the MC, but when Tsukada cut in to comment, they went back to talking about how high-pitched his voice was.
Tsukada: That's enough talking about me. Can we please talk about Tackey and Tsubasa?
All: You started this!
Kawai reminisced about one of the times that they'd gone to Hokkaido and someone had lost at janken, then been forced to go outside in the freezing rain and snow onto the balcony only in their underwear. The door had been shoved closed and locked, leaving them outside to knock on the door and search for a different way in. T&T returned part way through the story and commented that they had been surprised about that too.
Ta: Kawai-kun, it's always interesting how keep sending me messaged every day.
Kita: He does that to me too! Like, "I want to see you."
Ta: Or "Let's go out for dinner."
Kita: It seems like he's a lonely person.
Kawai: No! It just meant that if you were free, I'd like to get together.
They finished up the MC and the Juniors left, Yuuma saying very softly and cutely, "Thank you" as he left.
T: For our next songs, we'd like to do two that came from back when we debuted. "True Heart" and "You & I" by Takeuchi-san. It was just the two of them on the stage for those.
ABC-Z returned, as well as KMF. "Wanna Be" was cool. They'd put on their skates, but the lights went off and the skates lit up in various colors. Then! In a break in the song, a low voice cut in saying, "I wanna be free." KMF looked around to see who'd done it. Behind them, posing like he was a new member of the group was Tackey.
Ta: Can I try doing that? (He'd actually put on skates too and wanted to join them.) I'm good too.
KMF: Really? (They helped him up onto the stage and he promptly tripped.) Abunai! ("That's dangerous!)
Ta: I can do a trick too.
He spun around once and nearly fell over doing it. XD He said his "I wanna be free" again at the end. He also tried spinning once more, but not that it was any better than the first time.
Sexy Zone appeared and Tackey, still in skates, tried to copy their dance along with KMF behind them. While Sexy Zone continued, Tackey got down from the back stage by being supported by two KMF members while he slowly slid backwards down the ramp to the floor. They went around the side of the arena and right as Tackey was about to rush up the ramp going to the main stage, the two members rushed forward to make sure he wasn't going to fall going up. =^_^=
The Kansai Juniors came out with Yuuma and during their song, Yuuma said, "T&T, take me out to dinner."
NYC and Hey Say Jump were next. Yamada and Suzuki got VERY close during "Super Delicate", smiling at each other as they sang.
Yamada: T&T, congratulations! As Juniors, we grew up watching you on the stage. We're grateful to be here together now.
I believe it was Yara that came out as a guest who danced with T&T for "Koakuma Juliette" and "24 Jikan Bi Happy". They both kept calling him "Yaracchi."
Then Yamapi came out!! He had big bouquets for each of them.
Y: Also, I have a bit of a present to go with them. Don't expect much from it though.
Out of the bag came a circle pillow thing that you can put around your neck to help you sleep when you travel, but in the shape of a flower. Tackey's was pink and Tsubasa was blue. Tackey immediately stuck his around his neck, so Tsubasa followed.
Y: And this was something fun for kids.
There was an orange pumpkin hat for Tackey and a black cat one for Tsubasa. They looked ridiculous wearing both at the same time!
T: So you have your drama coming up. "Monsters."
Y: Yes. With Katori Shingo. But before when you mentioned "Kaiki Club", it reminded me when I first saw that show. It was one of the reasons I wanted to join Johnnys.
T: Since then we've been on different music programs together.
They took off the presents. Finally. ^_^
Ta: He's so nice.
T: And the name "Yamapi" came from you.
Y: Now it's "EroP" though. Or rather, during the day, I'm "Yamapi" and at night, I become "EroP".
Ta: Since you mentioned it, you have to tell the crowd how you usually look at them.
Y: I'm looking at you with "ero" eyes. ^_^ Please continue to support me, as Yamapi.
The three of them did "Pride ♂ the END". Yamapi's jacket was a low "v" neck that hung open every time he moved. It was nice. He stuck around for "Yamanote Sen", doing the chu-chu train movement with the other Juniors and copying the rest of the dance. Very adorable.
During the next song, Tackey played with the crowd. He was "passed" a baby from the parents and kissed the kid's cheek, making him cry instead. He also high-fived as many people as he could.
They showed young pictures of T&T in "Kizuna Mo Kiseki Mo Koko ni Aru". "Samurai" was cool because several Juniors were playing instruments on the stage. Plus T&T were holding hands.
Juniors were chasing each other around the arena at one point. A very funny sight. T&T went into the crowds too. Tsubasa sang to a young boy who just stared back, unsure what to do. His sister was much more enthusiastic.
After "Ikiteru Akashi", they introduced all the Johnnys again. Yamapi was the last one. Spread out over the main stage, they danced "Real DX" together. Yamapi was singing along as he did the moves. The little Juniors were back in the mansion again in the background.
Y: We're really happy for you. This is T&T's 10th anniversary, but your kouhai will continue to support you.
Everyone bowed together.
T&T reappeared on huge balloons with stands attached to the bottoms. They nearly went all the way up to the ceiling. A ton of glitter shot out in "Journey" and when they both got back down to the ground, Tackey immediately tried to step away, forgetting that he still had a safety rope attached. Confused why he'd not made it very far, he looked backwards and got it off properly.
Ta: I hope you'll continue to support us from now on. We'll hope to make as many memories with you as we can.
T: Thank you. 10 years is really something. It's because the fans believe in us that we made it this far.
I think I remember them leaving to switch their shirts to the tour ones.
T: Tokyo Dome, this feels great!
Ta: Iya... iya... We're really happy. Let's keep making some more memories together!
T: More? You can keep going?! Then here's "WonderlanDream".
This one and "Yume Monogatari" was fun because all the members rushed to gather close together in the middle of the stage and did the dance, although none of them really had enough space to do it well. They sure looked like they enjoyed it. It still makes me smile to remember it. Definitely a good memory to have.
Tackey gave a super hyper wave good-bye while Tsubasa gave a mini one.
We succeed in getting them to come out one last time. Tsubasa had the tour shirt shoved up around his neck, like a strange scarf. He and Tackey walked out holding hands again. At one point in the night (I think it was here), Tackey brought their linked hands up to his lips and kissed them. They bowed "seriously" to each side and to the middle. We were yelling for an encore, but they didn't give it to us so easily. T&T looked around for a while as if they were trying to listen to what we were shouting.
T: Okay then. We'll do one last one. Kouhai, you too. Whether you're dressed or undressed, get out here.
Tackey went to check if they were somewhat ready.
T: Are they there?
Last was "Crazy Rainbow"! Half the Juniors had already changed into their usual clothes, but they came out and did the REALLY silly dance along with T&T. (I had no idea it could get that amusing.) They squished close again to dance and at the end, Tackey tried to time when to jump all together, couldn't figure it out, gave up, and raised his hands up in the air instead.
They thanked the crowd one last time and the concert ended right around 8:30.
