I missed the inauguration itself as I was at trampolining, but as soon as I got home I watched his speech on the BBC website and MAN that guy is good at making speeches.
Incidentally, is it wrong to want to hug the President of the United States? Because he looked so overwhelmed that I wanted to hug him, honestly.
Ok, so, other news.
School
No more exams until May, plus I got an A* on my Maths resit and I've done the first draft of my Geography (NOT overnight, despite what I said, it took another week). The Gubbins isn't so bad this term, either, although she's determined for me that metallic pen is a Bad Thing and I'm only allowed to use paint. To which I respond, in the nicest possible way, 'Fuck you'. It's my sculpture design and I'll ink if I want to. As for tech, well, Mr Price is absolutely awesomecool and I'm well into production of my final piece (freaky bondage-y goth jewellery).
On the minus side, I've got Biology coursework, and no matter how hard I try to convince myself to the contrary, I do actually need to do more work on my Geography. And type up my German.
I've picked my A-Levels, though. I'm going to do Art, Design Technology, Philosophy and either German or Physics. Probably German.
Social life
I have one. I went to a party Friday night. How is this possible?
The Evil is back on Crippleboy's back again, and Kiba's. Fuck him, but I don't intend to punch him in the face again (at least until my German oral in the spring. Since I did so well after going into isolation before the last one, I'm under strict instructions to get myeslf into trouble again before my proper GCSE).
Gothy McGoth the autistic freak-boy has finally decided to turn up to Art lessons, upon which his grandad promptly died. So yeah. Happy days.
Oh, and Danni has become obsessed with Twitlight. If she disturbs one more physics lesson raving about Edward frickin' Cullen I may stab her to death with a protractor.

First of all, can I just say WHOOO-HOOOO!!!!?
My LJ RP life has really perked up, despite Merlyn and Heihachi being left without a game since cfeit_project closed down, because I awakened my inner Harry Dresden.
So I have one Harry running around dear_multiverse laughing at glitterified Thomases, making friends with various odd people and discussing the finer points of running for one's life with Rincewind, and another at villageofsheol having LOTS of interaction with Joshua from TWEWY, which is absolutely amazing, Joshua not only having worked Harry into a state where everything he says further damns him as a pedophilic S+M fetishist but also having determined to find out Harry's middle names.
Plus at dear_multiverse I've got TH White-verse Pellinore complaining about the Beast pinin', and Twoflower running around very excitably, annoying the hell out of Rincewind and taking lots of pictures. All in all, LJ RP is goin' gooooood. Plus everyone LIKES me as Harry's mun and keeps complimenting me :3
Off LJ, everything's cooled down a bit, but Jenn and I still keep a flame burning for our absolute top OC pairing of all time, Lizzie and Clyde, leading us to develop an unhealthy obsession. She keeps sending me links for films which like, ARE their storyline. The best so far was Lost and Delirious, which had me in floods for over an hour, really.
Sad, isn't it, that those are the only categories of news with any meaning for me?
