Pattern Program

Sep 06, 2010 02:43

On the dead computer I used to have a program that would let you input an image and the program would spit out a knitting pattern for the image. That computer is long-gone and I can't even find the NAME of the program.

Does anyone know/remember what I'm talking about and where I can get the program (hopefully for free)?

Thanks!

Like a pattern of a jumper or like a chart?
http://kpg.sourceforge.net/ should get you a program that turns a picture into a chart.

http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/
is meant to convert stuff online.

No idea how well they work but worth a try.
I'm snagging the first one myself. I have a few things I want to chart up and until now I've been doing them by hand in Photoshop.

I ended up using a combo of knitpro and a lot of hand-charting and swearing!
