Only 2-3 years? I'm socked in for the 2012 armageddon and if there is a mass extinction of every fiber producing animal and plant on the planet, I can still have enough yarn to make clothing for my grandchildren, should I survive.

Well techincally I could make clothes for my grandchildren, but obviously not full outfits, wearing nothing else forever. I doubt you could either.

Yes, I most certainly would be surprized. To clothe that many people for that long, you'd need way more yarn than my local yarn shop has.

Isn't it nice to know that if the apocalyspe comes, you have a useful skill?

Well several actually - just like me! I enjoy that thought especially - whenever someone with no practical skills is snotty or famous.
