I'm cutting to save your friend's pages.
First, the colorway: (dyed with wilton's cake dye)

The longsies soaker: (the crayons are Green and Red)

Now, after they were washed several times (to remove as much of the dye as I could. I basically washed them a dozen times) Then re-set the dye in a hot vinegar bath (basically boiled for 10 min in vinegar water), and then lanolized. Unfortuantly, the white took on some of the brown (mixing of the red and green) dye water. This is mainly because I had SO MUCH of the red and green dye. I used a full 1 oz dye for 4 oz of yarn. And if you recall, I used very little dye to get my other trials from before!
Pictures:
From the back (yes I do tie them in the back. LO is less likely to bother with the ties!)

This should be very similar to how the blue/brown colorway I made will knit out (since the only difference is the color, the green/red and the blue/brown were dyed almost exactly the same way). But since I made that for someone else, I can't say for certain!
OH if you notice the legs! LOL I did the both leg method of knitting (aka I unwound some of the ball and made it a center pull ball so I used both ends of the yarn to knit both legs at the same time.) Because of that, there is a variation in the striping, very silly!
