The Yarns, Emerald part 3

With the twins' birthday, Emerald realized that time was quickly passing her by. There were things she still wanted to do, so back to the computer to look for the perfect opportunity. It wasn't there.



But the twins were great fun as toddlers, and Emerald stayed up late teaching them new things.



And she filled the house with little instruments that they could play.



And play they did!



And of course, there was dancing with Gramma (it's just what Gramma's and grandkids do, right?!).



Yikes! Quality time with the grandkids - ur doin' it wrong!



But she does do potty training.



Yes, yes. We see you there looking cute.

Glen asked her out again, and they headed downtown for a bite to eat.



And a little dancing.



And of course there has to be karaoke.



Glen: *singing* I opened my eyes last night, and saw you in the low light...
Emerald: *hums*



Both: *boppin'*



Emerald: *singing* When we're apart whatever are you thinking of?
Glen: *singing* If this is what I call home, why does it feel so alone?



Emerald: *singing* So darling, do you wish we'd fall in love?



Glen: *singing* All the time...



Glen: All the time. *wants*
Emerald: Seriously?
YEs!



Both: *makeout*



Back at home Allison has reached the penultimate musical enthusiasm!! Woot! Now she and Peat and glow and make music together XD



OH CUSTARD!! what's wrong bb?



There is great sadness.



But then there is pee-pee!



pee-pee WIN!! Hooray for two potty trained toddlers!



The next morning though, there is much less win. Much. And lots of roaches. GROSS.



The boys don't really care about roaches though. They just want their breakfast.



Happy day, breakfast comes fast!! And aren't those bunny ears just FABULOUS?!

But Peat put an end to my fun.



Peat: What? What fun? I'm just the Grampa tryin' to put my TIRED grandbabies to bed!!



Emerald decided to call over some friends.



They had trouble figuring out the logistics though.

Leo Jared: Huh.
Alvin and Emerald: *smoooooch*



Leo Jared: Stupid bed in my way! I want in on the action!

the lack of jealousy is rather surprising ... o_O But I guess Emerald has always been rather upfront about her romance sim nature.



No one seems to mind!



Emearld: Heeeeey ...
Leo Jared: Oh? is my turn now?



After a fun afternoon Emerald head's off for work, leaving her parents with the twins.





Seems to be a good arrangement for everyone, except for Allison's poor back.



a VERY good arrangement!



Allison's back had had enough, so Peat took over with Gold.



Yay!! Gold's learned to walk too!



Gold: abaowahahooO!!



Leo Jared: Aren't you cute?! *pats*
Oh look! Emerald's home from work!



Oh, of course. She brought home yet another friend.



Peat: Bwah?
Aivin: *stares*



Peat: What is he doing here!?!?!?!
lol. Peat can be very ... oblivious sometimes.

In the morning, Emerald makes an important phone call.
Emerald: Hello, my name is Emerald Yarn and I'm calling to ... yes...yes...okay. Thank you!

Gold: OoooOOhaahaba!
Custard: *giggles*



They're pretty good O_o



Custard: *chews crayon* Bwaba?
Gold: *laughs and throws blocks*



Custard: *happily confused*



With the push of a button, Emerald's big plan is revealed!



step 1: customers buy tickets.



step 2: we play music and dance.



step 3: customers cannot resist the dance.

step 4: share family heirlooms and impress all the neighbors.



step 5: keep looking for that perfect opportunity. it has to show up sometime (right?).



but whether or not it does ... at least her little boys are cute XD
