Today's Lesson: Apple cider is bad for computer keyboards.

I had a beverage mishap that resulted in a keyboard swap out. The keyboard that Dave produced was...well...disgusting. I wouldn't type on it until I had given it a thorough sanitizing. I shouldn't be one to talk, dumping juices on my keyboard but...DANG!

I have a bit of catching up to do.

Wednesday was our lovely warm day this past week. The thermometer read in the mid 50s F. While I walked over to pick up Brenna for our tutoring session, Dave tried to get the dead alternator out of the Land Cruiser. After over 2 hours, Brenna and I successfully reorganized her notes and caught up on her homework. Dave however didn't have as much luck. We were surprised to learn that all of the open mic sound gear fits into the Subaru station wagon...barely. Because the weather has gotten drastically colder, the Land Cruiser repairs will have to wait.

I've finished knitting my first sock this week. I've gotten a good start on it's mate, but I'm not sure I will have it done by the guild meeting on Tuesday.

Dave will be leaving on a business trip to Boulder, CO on Sunday and returning on Wednesday. The plan is for him to get back in time for open mic.

My mom had planned to drive up today to deliver altered clothing to Melody in the city (of Chicago) and visit me. She called last night to scrap her plans because of the cold and the fact that Mel has been sick this week.

I've been feeling particularly pregnant today. I've got this kind of bloated, awkward feeling. I can almost sense my center of balance shifting. Too bad I can't instinctively compensate for it. I had a bit of spill when I missed a couple of stairs as I took the empty recycling bin down to Dave's office. I think I'm going to have to avoid carrying things up and down the stairs. At least nothing that won't allow me a free hand to stabilize myself.
