In retrospect, walking to and from the Market Basket at noon on the third-longest day of the year WITHOUT SUNSCREEN was a dumb, dumb move. I am lucky that I only got a minor radiation burn and a rollicking case of can'tsleep*, rather than, like, peeling and itching.
* Seriously, I didn't really notice that I was tired until 10, and I didn't manage to peel myself off the couch until, um, 1? Not good.
