I'm glad. The problem with female succession is not in gender, but the fact that a male marrying them would either come into conflict with the power (see Elizabeth II) and the issue would need to be dealt with, or there could be problems with the babies.
Regardless, its nice to see the family finally have a male heir, as it was something they all stressed about for 15 or so years.
Plus, Kiko is really cute. I like her.
