It's been damn near a year since I have updated and I figured today I would give it a try.
The last year has been filled with many ups and downs, Mostly downs on my end of life. Isaac will be four in January. That i can not believe. I feel as tho I just started writing about being pregnant and all that rot. Well here he is standing next to me saying letters as I type them out. He is taller than I when I am sitting down. That is weird for me. I remember him being so small and tiny, and now he is literally half my size.
In August we (Bob, Isaac, and Myself) moved from the Farmer City, Il. Area to Hillsboro again. I didn't think it would have been the grandest idea, But it seems to be working out well so far. Bob has a job he loves, Just wish they paid more. He has the chance to get on full time at the hospital in the next few months. Plus here shortly he will be able to be part time out there, when they need him. However like i said before I have a job i hate. Currently working at a gas station. Good news is one my of asst. managers might be leaving soon to go work at the mine. If that happens I plan to open myself up for improvement and more hours within that title. That is if every thing goes as planned, and in my life that hardly ever happens.
A year ago December 15th I started dating a very wonderful, caring, warm and thoughtful man. He has brought something to my life I never thought I was missing til I found him. I honestly don't know what I would do with out him. We have been thought trials and tribulations, but honestly what couple hasn't? I'm glad i get to spend this moment in time with him and hopefully many moments in the future.
I have been working pretty much steadily at a job which I hate, but really can't do anything about currently. I was working damn near full time til last week when they cut my hours down to two days a week. Seems that is happening every where. Hopefully after the holidays are over I will be able to find another job or get my hours back, I have been actively searching for another job but really haven't had much luck. Yet another reason I REALLY hate the holidays.
Two more members were added to the family this year. My 17 yr old nephew had a son, His name is Dylan. Plus my oldest brother had a son whose name is Alex. They are both about 5 months apart and I am biased in saying they are two of the cutest little things around. So if anyone has been keeping count with my family... Those two would make boys number five and six. With me still being the youngest girl and only Biological one (for my moms side) and I turned 30 in Nov.
Turning 30 was a pivotal point in my life. Seems like I took it rather well, Better than most I would agree. I didn't go out and drink or even have one beer. I stayed in and had a wonderful dinner with my family. Honestly hitting 30 wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been. My charming son, My loving boyfriend, What more do I need?
I'm over run with boys and I would not be happier any other way.
Hmmm what else has happened this year? Well a lot really but most of the details do not matter. ah yes.....
Back in Nov. I lost some one very special to me. My high school sweet heart. He was killed in a one car accident. I know more details about that than any one should. Basically he was driving home (drunk) and way to fast and lost control of his car, as he tried to recover the car flipped and ended up throwing him from the car and into a bean field. :( I do miss him terribly even tho we haven't spoke in over two years. We dated for awhile and off and on again for many years. He will always have a special place in my heart, but I am really surprised he hasn't come back to haunt me like we would always joke about. Damn Mikey I miss you. The light has gone out of your eyes, but may it never go out in our hearts. RIP Mikey!
So to sum up this year. It's been a year of death, and happiness. Freedom and hope. Faith and love. Hope every one has a wonderful 2010, And I am thankful one more year is coming to a close, and this means one more year of new beginnings, hopes, and dreams. Happy Holidays every one!
