in my writing class, we've been reading these essays that really resonate with me. amazing. on new york and home and being not-alone in the city, walking, creating a life story.
i talked to luke briefly tonight. he hasn't really been planning or thinking about the whole theme thing, since i think he has lots else going on this weekend. i say you and i just pick something and go ahead and enact it.
god, my old office in nashville had a reindeer suit lying around that tj wore for halloween. i really wish i could get my hands on that now. we could be, oh, four santas pulling a shopping cart manned by a reindeer.
annaimissyou. i haven't read any fitzgerald other than gatsby! and i haven't read the white, either. i will check them out. i know how you love fsf, and you know how i respect your taste.
i am totally printing that essay out. immediately. xoxo!
it's found in his book "the crack up." it's all about nyc and you'd like it. the white is all about it too -- i learned about them both in scotland, believe it or not.
