in my writing class, we've been reading these essays that really resonate with me. amazing. on new york and home and being not-alone in the city, walking, creating a life story.

this should be rad.

fuck yes it will.

i talked to luke briefly tonight. he hasn't really been planning or thinking about the whole theme thing, since i think he has lots else going on this weekend. i say you and i just pick something and go ahead and enact it.

god, my old office in nashville had a reindeer suit lying around that tj wore for halloween. i really wish i could get my hands on that now. we could be, oh, four santas pulling a shopping cart manned by a reindeer.

also, what essays?

have you read f. scott's "my lost city"? because it's a must-read. oh my god. it's incredible.

also, have you/are you reading the e.b. white essay "here is new york"? it is also. amazing.

it's found in his book "the crack up." it's all about nyc and you'd like it. the white is all about it too -- i learned about them both in scotland, believe it or not.

xoxoxoxo!!!!
