Evil
You know how people say that money is the root of all evil? What if now that has changed? Now is it that food is the root of all evil?
Einstein once argued to a professor that God did not create evil on the basis that evil does not actually exist. He explained first that cold does not exist, it is in fact the word we use to describe the complete absence of heat. He then explained that dark does not exist, it is again merely the way we describe the absence of light and brightness. So, using that same logic, he explained that evil is simply the absence of God in people.
I don't know how true that story is, but I like the point of it, the reasoning of it all, and the basis behind it. It's just been in my mind. I think the same thing could be said about hate- it's the absence of love.
Money, food, calories, etc., all are just excuses, ways to blame evil on something. But I don't think Evil needs an excuse to work.
