So I went to the Cleveland Museum of Art with Kim. Went through about 2000+/- years of art history in about an hour minus the egyptian cause we've both seen it so many times. Went to Pho Hoa afterwards, mmmmmm. Hopefully Matt, Joe and Boris are gonna come down in August though I do understand that everyone is very busy. Heard an interesting quote from Bush on Wednesday that's been bothering me since. He was speaking to some place in North Carolina and said:
"I did well here in 2000 because the North Carolinian voters understood we shared values," Bush said. "I am going to do well again in 2004. They know we share those values."
"I also know that when they go to the polls to vote for president that they'll understand that the senator from Massachusetts doesn't share their values," Bush said, referring to Kerry. (CNN.com)
The problem is that he doesn't really elaborate on these values. If a presidential candidate wants people to know his values, shouldn't he say them? Shouldn't he say "Well i believe in Pro-Life and Pro-Capital Punishment"(a contradiction itself in my mind) or "I believe in nibor dooh"(reverse Robin Hood). Anyways I'm just getting sick of how disgusting both Republicans and Democrats have been though in November I WILL vote Democrat cause Nader is just a lost cause and why take the chance of getting Bush in office again. Well enough Politico ramblings. I'm off to household work and lan partying.
