No place like home

So we got the keys to the new flat today. I'd been running around like an overwhelmed headless chicken all morning, trying to sort out my police re-registration (it's that time of year again) and bringing D. documents he needed for his but had forgotten to pack. The first time I trudged out there, they laughed and told me to come back later- everyone had decided to take off early for lunch. I went back and successfully re-registered after a brief but somehow unhurried lunch with my only female friend in this city (it's still a lonely big town at heart) and picking up the keys and meeting with the landlord and having him translate all the buttons on the AC and television remote controls.  I love our new flat. I really really do. It feels so new and fresh and empty.  So many quiet places to retreat to.  I've put up the photos here. Only one two new shots for those of you who saw my original set here- I remembered to take a picture of the living room this time----ETA and other bedroom!  I sat on the sofa, windows flung open, and just felt still. It's good.
