Summary: RyoDa helps each other to move on from their ex-girlfriends but Ryo has another intention.
"Shit," Ueda muttered, as he realised that he has in fact fallen in love with Nishikido Ryo.
About a month ago, Ueda Tatsuya's girlfriend had dumped him. Coincidentally, Ryo's girlfriend had dumped him on the very same day.
Ryo had found Ueda crying on the rooftop of the Jimusho. He wiped away his own tears and went over to Ueda.
"She dumped me," Ueda said as she saw Ryo approaching.
"Me too," Ryo mumbled.
They had sat together, shoulders touching, talking about ways of getting their revenge (though Ueda just stared at him when Ryo asked about voodoo dolls).
When they had enough brooding for the day, Ryo suggested, "I know.. Why don't we help each other move on? Wouldn't that be easier?"
"What do you mean?" Ueda asked.
"We'll act like how we would if we were in a relationship with each other. I'll make you feel better, and you do the same for me. Then we'll honestly realise that there are really better girls than our exes." Ryo explained.
"Okay," Ueda agreed, amused by the idea.
"I promise you won't regret it, Hime." Ryo said as he looked into Ueda's eyes.
"Hime??!" Ueda hissed.
"You're now my Princess, Tatsuya." Ryo said and smiled.
And they did make each other feel better. Ryo was the sweetest thing ever. He often cooked for Ueda, though he kept calling him Princess, which he found annoying.
Ueda was always there for Ryo. Like that time when Ryo sneaked into KAT-TUN's rehearsal room and told Ueda that he was skipping work. Ueda had followed him, giggling as they both ran out of the building. They went to watch a movie but ended up sleeping there.
Ryo never touched Ueda in an affectionate manner, such as a kiss or hug. He respected Ueda, as this was not a real relationship. That was one of the things Ueda liked about Ryo.
A month after they started their 'relationship', Ueda's ex-girlfriend, Nomiko, wanted him back.
Ueda was so happy that he hugged Ryo.
"I'm so happy Ryo-chan! She said she realised her mistake and wanted to continue our relationship!" Ueda said as he smiled widely, breaking the hug.
"That's great huh?" Ryo smirked.
"Ne, let's celebrate tonight! It will be our last date together," Ueda said and he laughed.
Ryo was quiet for a while before answering, "I.. Have something on I'm sorry I guess I forgot to tell you huh?"
He gave Ueda a wry smile.
But Ueda, blinded with joy, did not notice.
"Oh never mind then I guess I'll ask her out then?" Ueda said and whipped out his cell phone, already ignoring Ryo.
"Maa, I guess I'll go off first?" Ryo said, but Ueda didn't answer as he was busy texting.
Ryo left Ueda's apartment without another word.
At his own apartment, he took out his cell phone and started to type out a text message.
To: Ueda Tatsuya
Hime
The truth is, I love you.
The reason why my ex-girlfriend broke up
with me is because I admitted to her
that the one I love is
Ueda Tatsuya.
Nishikido Ryo
He pressed the send button.
Meanwhile, Ueda was at a bar with Nomiko.
But something felt wrong to Ueda. Her jokes weren't funny anymore, her smile wasn't heartwarming anymore and her touch.. disgusted him. It was like he didn't want anyone to touch him.
Anyone but Nishikido Ryo.
What the hell am I thinking? Ueda ridiculed himself.
He excused himself and went to the toilet. Then he saw that he had 1 unread message.
For some reason, Ueda felt relieved.
