[fanletter] Fanletter to Akanishi Jin
Dear Akanishi Jin-san
I’m a fan of yours, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Really, I don’t know what to write actually…
I’ve become your fan back in the end of 2007, if I remembered correctly, LOL, even I myself not so sure when.
But it’s the first time I ever have someone I really like, I mean became a fan of. Even though after knowing about you, I got to know about KAT-TUN, and fall in love with KAT-TUN, but still I like you the most. I also got to know about other Johnnys but still besides Yamapi and Ryo-chan, I don’t really care about others, because somewhat I really admire the relationship between the three of you, and surely it also includes Shirota Yu.
I like all the song that you wrote, and the one that left the most impression on me is Care and Eternal.
Because for me ‘Care’ is so beautifully written. It has the power to lift up the spirit when you’re down. Surely when first I heard the song, I like the music, since I don’t know Japanese I don’t really care what the lyric is all about, as long as the music is good and nice. But thanks to the fan who really loves you and want to share all about you to the world, I got the translated lyric and reading the lyric, I found myself cried; I’m a sensitive at heart too, I got so emotional over the smallest thing, LOL; but really the lyric gives me courage. Then I watched the Shounen Club episode which you produced and you sang Care. You gave some explanation about the song and I know I was right that the song really to cheer up people. I’m really thankful for the amazing song.
For Eternal, I know the reason I like the song seems so cliché, it’s because you sang the song with your best friend, Yamapi. But really when I heard the song; ok, forgive me I can only listen to it from fanrecording, but thanks to the fans who want the world to know about their idols, somehow many people got to know you and Yamapi; it’s so beautiful. Since I got the English translation with the song, so it’s easy to know what is all about. The song was really leaving a deep impression, I guess it’s because your words.
Wonder gives me a different reason why I love you.
A Page makes me fall in love with you again.
and Paparats simply amused me.
And all the other songs.
I read your interviews and TV shows (again, thanks to the fans who care for you and want to share their love for you to other people in the world) I got to know more about you, but of course I realized it’s not all about you.
When I read all the rumors about you, I always think, how do you feel reading those? It certainly not easy on you when people misunderstood you or judging you just from a fragment of yourself, like what they know about you anyway, which making them so boldly accusing you. But it’s how the world operated.
But, you have to believe in your fans, because their love is unconditional. They love you as you are; of course we don’t know your life in private, but I’m sure it’s not different much since you are true to yourself, always being yourself. From what you show in front of camera, from your interviews, we all know that you always true to yourself.
Some fans maybe sad and even angry when you were officially left KAT-TUN, it’s inevitable but what ever the direction you go we always supporting you, because it’s your dream so we let you to decide, because we know you is happy when you’re truly happy, and when you happy, you have that pure smile which makes us smile too.
But really I still hope that you’ll write more Japanese songs and sing them in your concert wherever it is, because no matter what we love you as you are.
And lastly good luck for your tour and if possible, come to Malaysia too.

P/S: please, please treasure your friendship with your bestfriends especially Yamashita-san and Nishikido-san and Shirota Yu-san because I found it’s hard to have a really precious friendship like that.
