jesus christ...
okay, holy shit. haven't posted in a while, 'cause i am teh super lazy and i suck. but that's beside the point. thanks to lisa, the past few days i have been on a buying rampage. this is how it went:
- because she is moving to MITland, lisa gave up many of her worldly possesions, including the first volume of tsubasa, which i have been meaning to purchase for some time now.
- thinking i would have nothing to do, i took it with me to work friday night.
- upon completing said volume, i immediately began to devise a way to obtain volume 2 that night when i got off work.
- after work, i went to the borders by my house and proceeded to buy volumes 2-6, which i finished that same night.
- saturday, i arrived to work early in order to check out the borders express on the second level of the mall to see if they happened to have volume 7.
- i bought volumes 7 & 8, and clocked in to work.
over a less-than-24-hour span, i managed to spend roughly $90.00 on manga. jesus.
but wait! there's more!!
after reading all eight volumes of tsubasa, i had an incredible urge to watch the second cardcaptor sakura movie, because i had forgotten how much i absolutely adore syaoran/sakura. this, of course, along with re-reading the 5 or 6 ccs comics i own, managaed to rekindle my love for ccs in general. so on sunday, i ordered volumes 4-6 of the first edition graphic novels, which are now out of print. sadly, 1-3 are no longer available period, but that's okay. why? because i just ordered all six of the ccs bilingual graphic novels, that's why.
*deep breath*
SOOOOOOOOOOO, basically, i have a new obsession and i have ressurected an old one, just in time for CLAMP to be at AX. Wheeeee!!!

in other news, i still need to make my jenova's witness robes, and my brother wants some, too. i'm thinking maybe sunday for that, since school and work get in the way. also, if bunny isn't too terribly busy, maybe she could help me get those done? *puppy dog eyes* i think i can handle my own, but some assistance in getting a second pair done in time would be totally awesome. nothing complicated, not like those fucking coats, so no worries this time. hopefully. >.>
oh shit, and i have a final paper to work on, part of which i believe is due on thursday. damn and double damn. >.< oh, well. and i should probably go to bed, since i have class and work tomorrow. eew.
btw, sorry 'bout the randomness of all that. i seem to be rather hyper at the moment.
