Okay!
Long time nooooo write!
As usual, movie reviews! ^^
Today I did a marathon movie until breakfasting time XDD
At 12.30pm - The Conjuring!
Since noone would go watch this movie, so I went to see this by myself ^^
After the noon prayer, went to the theater, got a good position and a good view at the center and some girls who sat beside me were screaming every time surprises came...hehe..
Finally I got to see a GOOD HORROR movie on the big screen after a loooong time!!
Hm...now I recalled the guy who played Ed Warren on the movie!
He was the Dad in Insidious!!
No wonder he looked soo familiar ^^
And there I spotted Joey King and Mackenzie Foy as well as the daughter.
Their acting, especially Joey, was nice ^^
Channing Tatum Daddy would be proud haha
Anywho, this movie really got the suspense and the story was quite scary since it was based on a true case of Ed Warren and his wife.
But I was kind of disappointed about the ending.
Horror movies usually ended with tragic endings or sometimes even become like a never ending circle, means that the evil is never die, it still lingers there. But I think this movie was a typical of a horror movie with a simple happy ending, added with an ending note from Ed himself before the credit. It was heartwarming though, knowing that everybody was safe ^^
Anyway, this movie is quite entertaining and I guarantee that you won't regret to spend your money on this one ^^
Good atmosphere, suspense, surprises and the ghost itself XD
I'll give it 4 out of 5 ^^
At 15.24pm - Pacific Rim!
This time, my friend joined with me to see this movie.
Stupid me, I miss-looked the time, I said to her, the movie started at 15.45 (--___--")
But since it was a heavy raining so she was stuck at the jammed traffic so she couldn't be there on time as well..
Because the afternoon prayer was also at the same time the movie started, so I decided to go in after I finished my prayer.
I went in around 20 minutes after the movie started while my friend finally came when it reached almost half of the story.
So the conclusion is, we both missed the start LOL
This movie was quite entertaining as well.
We were quite disappointed to ourselves of why we didn't watch it in 3D or IMAX haha
This movie reminds me of Neon Genesis Evangelion, but Rim is probably the lighter version of Eva.
The first time I watched Eva was few years ago and I fell in love with Ayanami Rei character.
But when she died while protecting Shinji in the first season, I stopped watching, 'cause Ayanami who was a clone and finally came back again to NERV started with zero memory, including her relationship with Shinji and the fact that the old Ayanami was more "human" was gone. But above that, NOTHING can beat Evangelion if we're talking about mecha XD
My favorite scene from Eva is when Eva Shogouki was berserk including Shinji on it, and ate the angel.
My pictures when I went to Evangelion World in FujiQ, Japan..bring back memories ^^
I couldn't find Shinji's figure.... I took a pic with Kaworu and wanted to do so as well with Asuka, but she was WELL protected and...costly XD
Anyway, about Rim, if you wanna watch, go watch it on 3D or IMAX!
It's be totally awesome! XD
4 out of 5!!
'Kay, I'm done with my reviews today.
One word to describe my marathon today, awesome!
Happy weekend!
