Notes: maa~ it's been a while, hasn't it? >.>; I haven't been in the writing mood, lately. OHWELL, I had to do it, so I did. I had to fight with each and every one of these to get them out, but...I'm satisfied, so it's okay. XD it's going to be ten sentences a round, now, 'cause I'm obsessive compulsive and have gotten to the point where I can do that.
36. ANGST It burned like bile in his throat, hot and bitter on his tongue, that though he had finally caught up to Sasuke's strength it was once again he who was left behind.
ALT-12. FLY Naruto was like water, liquid, malleable, always changing, always moving forward; so as Sasuke sank (static, unmoved by time, living always with his eyes in the past) Naruto flew.
26. DIZZY It overwhelmed him, this need for strength, for power; but though he was given the perfect opportunity, he couldn't do it and, and while it didn't show he was dizzy with the sense that he had failed; failed himself, failed his brother, and most importantly, failed the boy he'd left behind.
14. FEEL It was strange; though they were thousands of miles apart, if he closed his eyes, Naruto could still feel Sasuke beside him, almost like a ghost whose body, though still functioning, had been torn away from it.
32. MISTAKE He almost collapsed on his way to Otogakure, swallowed back more of his blood than he cared to think about, heard the dark voice of his brother ringing in his ears, but it never occurred to him to regret leaving Naruto alive.
19. HEAT He moaned, heat curling heavy in his stomach, and each cool kiss left trails of fire across his skin; he opened his eyes, met clear, brilliant blue, and felt himself explode.
42. TIRED For the first time in three years Naruto let himself feel the bone-deep weariness that fought to engulf him; once again Sasuke was gone and he had been unable to do anything.
22. DESIRE He swallowed thickly as he watched Naruto, clad only in the towel wrapped around his waist, slip into the hot spring, relaxing against the wall with a very heartfelt sigh; the blond looked at him strangely when he briefly turned around, but he had to adjust his towel to conceal an erection that even Naruto, oblivious as he could be, wouldn't miss.
38. LUCK It was just his luck that it started raining; he paused briefly in his training to glance east and tried not to wonder what Naruto was doing.
9. BOUND It didn't seem to matter how far apart they were; the ropes, the ties, that bound them together never stretched, never, to Naruto's relief and Sasuke's far-off consternation, broke.
