My ICHIBAN Needs More Lead Roles!
So, I'm a crazy Aiba Masaki fan. That much should be obvious from looking at my dp or even reading my past journal entries. But there's this one thing that has been bugging me lately and I cant stop thinking about it. Aiba Masaki is an extremely talented person...and I really do think he DESERVES more lead drama roles! I know he just did My Girl last year...but I want him to do more...like the other members. And something else that bothered me...and maybe it's just me...but when My Girl came out last year they didnt really promote it that much at all...by they I mean Arashi. Like I remember when HanaDan was playing in the theatres or when Yatterman was about to come out, Arashi did 'special' episodes on their variety shows to promote the movies...and even when they were appearing in their own dramas, they would promote them on the variety shows...but when My Girl came out I didnt really see much of that at all...and it makes me kind of mad. It makes me think that there isn't equality between the members. I dont know maybe I am just super biased when it comes to Aiba-chan but I really do think he's an amazing actor and that he deserves more lead roles!! Like I was watching Himitsu No Arashi-chan the other day, episode 56 i think, and they were doing 'serial acting' where all of them have to cry within a minute (they are acting of course lol), so the director gives all of them names according to whatever drama they are starring in at the moment, except for Aiba-chan...he calls him *zoo* the other members point that out ofcourse...and that's when it hit me too...that it's not fair that he doesnt get hardly any lead roles at all. I am definitely taking this more seriously then i need to lol but endless love for your ichiban makes you go crazy sometimes xD. But yeah, it had been bugging me for a while so i thought this would be the best place to get it all off my chest...that said, now I really do feel like starting a movement though to make sure we see Aiba-chan in lead roles more often lol. On the other hand it could be his decision to not appear in dramas so much...but still the man needs MORE LEAD ROLES!
