AUNGH
GOD
AAAAAURGHHHHHHHHH
This student center should be very used to me sobbing over my laptop by now. But that's what I get for reading
The Man With the Knives in a public place!!
WHY?!?!?!?!
(...It left me saying. Distraught, bereft of joy and happiness. But this is how well the woman writes her grieving characters, you see. By the end of the story, you feel as if you're buried as deep as Richard and you just want to curl up and cry forever. That is what writing is.)
I'm sorry. I dig Sofia. But the fact that she's wonderful in this story is just secondary, to me. It just doesn't help. It's OVER. It's DONE. Alec and Richard are DEAD, Alec's just still walking around!!!! God, WHY.....
I'm hurt in my fan place. I want a different ending where they meet this guy Thomas and his girlfriend and go party with the elves for hundreds more years, the end.
And I can't help but feel that at the same time, all over the City, each and every swordsmen, fops and decorations though they may have been at this point in the City's evolution, felt at once the urge to buy all their friends a drink.
It was so beautiful in its crushingness.......ow. My fan place.
