I've only watched the first 18 episodes or so of Gundam Seed before I lost it, so please forgive the OOC-ness and little characterization. It's also my first time at attempting to write something on the citrus side, and so I apologize for the sudden jump.

No More Pretending
Kira was walking to his room, the day’s events running through his mind along with thoughts flitting past at breakneck speeds. He had been so busy lately; He rubbed his eyes and a picture of Sai’s hurt expression appeared in the darkness. He definitely needed to rest and relax. Just thinking about the hot shower he was going to have quickened Kira’s steps.
He was a few steps from his room when he was pushed roughly to the wall. It was Sai. Kira looked expectantly at the teen and was shocked to see the dark circles under the other’s eyes and the paleness of his skin.
"Why?” Sai asked. Kira blinked, what was the blonde asking?
“Do you really like her that much?” the taller boy continued, something desperate flickered in the depths of his eyes.
Frey. That’s what he was talking about, Kira realized with a start. Did he like her? Well, she was pretty and nice… She always had that untouchable aura around her, so he had been happy when she let him in and cried on his shoulder.
“I - I guess…” She had, in her own way, comforted him when he was lost, not that he was in the state of mind at the time to make the right decision. Just thinking about what happened made him blush and he kept his eyes fixed on a spot in the floor. A small part of him wondered how Sai would look if it had been him that night instead of Frey. Would his brown eyes darken with lust and…? Kira threw that thought as far out of his mind as possible.
Sai, unaware of the smaller boy’s last thought, leaned in closer and placed his hands next to the brunette’s head. “You guess? You slept with her while you knew she was my girlfriend, destroyed our friendship, and you guess you like her?” Kira had never felt that Sai was dangerous until now. A familiar little part of his mind sent him a sudden vision of a forceful Sai pushing him onto a bed and kissing him senseless. Kira shook his head; there will be plenty of time later to think about these things.
“I’m confused, okay? I was really lost that night, I wasn’t thinking straight…” Kira trailed off when he looked up at Sai. Something in the other’s eyes made his breath catch. Was it pain? Did he really like Frey that much? For some reason, that thought struck a pain deep in his heart. “If you really want her that much, then I’ll tell her it was a mistake, I’ll explain it to her. You’re better for her anyway,” he forced a weak smile. He needed to get out of there, needed to get away from the closeness of Sai’s body. He needed to reach the safety of his room where he could think and try to untwist his heart in peace.
“Kira…” Long fingers gently wiped the tears from his eyes. When did he start crying? “Kira, don’t cry,” Sai said softly. Unfortunately, it was too much for his overworked emotions and the knives in his heart dug deeper. Tears fell faster and faster, running from his down to his cheeks where they soaked Sai’s hand.
“I - I’m s-sorry…” the pilot finally managed to choke out.
Sai sighed, “I was just scared I was going to lose you. After what you’ve just said - ”
“L - Lose me…?”
“Um… well…” A strange pink tinted the taller teen’s cheeks as he looked away. “I… I just…” Sai took a deep breath and kissed the boy in front of him.
Kira’s eyes were wide with surprise, Didn’t Sai like Frey? But when he felt a tongue lightly touch his lips, he let it in without hesitation. It felt right. Forgotten dreams of kisses with Sai in an assortment of situations flashed before him. The rational part of him calmly took note that the real person was much better and that they were having a tongue-dueling session in a hallway.
A knee slipped between his legs and he involuntarily let out a moan. Sai’s mouth moved from his lips down to his neck, leaving a blazing trail behind. The short blond hair was soft between his fingers - when did they get there? - and Kira tugged at it, managing to gasp a “not here” before Sai led him to his door. Somehow, they managed to stumble, kissing, into the room. Kira’s nimble fingers began unbuttoning Sai’s uniform while his own was already halfway undone.
The click of the door lock brought Kira back to his senses and just exactly who it was that he was kissing sprang clearly into his mind. Using all of his willpower, he pushed Sai away. “I - We - we can’t.”
A faint “Why?” escaped the breathless operator.
“Because… because you like Frey, not me!” Tears threatened to fall again from violet eyes and amongst the confusion, desire, and hurt, Kira briefly wondered when he became such a crybaby.
The sexual tension disappeared instantly and in its place, another kind of tension filled the air. Taking the silence for Sai’s realization, Kira sat down on his bed with his back to the blonde. He gritted his teeth and waited for his friend to leave. Long minutes stretched past and the heaviness in Kira’s heart grew with each moment. Finally, quiet footsteps approached him and Kira braced himself for whatever Sai was going to say. Instead, strong arms wrapped around him and the slender boy found himself pressed against a solid chest.
“I like Frey, but I don’t love her,” the voice above him said quietly.
“But - ” protested Kira.
Sai merely tightened his embrace and continued, “I didn’t think you’d accept me - much less return my affections - if I told you.”
As the brunette digested that new piece of information, Sai lightly kissed him behind his ear. “Believe me.”
Kira decided to give up on thinking and being careful. He had been doing too much of that lately. He gave himself up to the thrill of the unknown, and with a twist, met Sai’s lips with his own. As he drew a moan from the natural teen now beneath him, he smirked into the kiss. He wasn’t scared anymore.
Sensing Kira’s renewed passion; Sai kissed him back, tangling his legs with the shorter boy’s. Using a sudden surge of strength and Kira’s trapped legs, Sai flipped them over. He broke their kiss to attack the pale neck while his agile fingers worked on Kira’s clothes. A series of licks and kisses left a hot, wet trail down his now exposed chest. Kira arched as a mouth closed over his nipple and moaned as teeth lightly scraped it. Sai smiled, “You’re a bit sensitive, aren’t you?”
Kira took the pause to throw his clothes onto the floor and asked rather innocently, “Why are you still dressed? I guess I’ll have to change that.” That was all the warning Sai got before he was flipped onto his back with Kira straddling him.
It proved to be an interesting night and briefly, Kira had wondered whether the others had heard his moans. He had been embarrassingly vocal, he reflected. But who wouldn’t be? asked a small voice in his mind. Sai had been unexpectedly talented and patient. And, the voice added, had a good hard - Kira slammed a mental door to shut out the voice. He was content just to sleep in the other’s arms.
