Very nicely done. The comparisons are obvious and have been stated many times before, but they're so much more effective the way you phrase and structure them. Beauty in simplicity.

I love the way they're both analysing through the loss of control, analysing the loss of control itself as just another interesting facet to themselves and each other - perfectly played. And the recurrence of the spider imagery for L in that last section is sinister and enticing and utterly right.
