random randomness...
i just waved at my neighbor...i don't usually run into this neighbor but i did today, so i waved. when i waved, i said hello...but more as a reflex...(i'm the speak-out-loud type....as in i'll be driving, and talking to other drivers...although they can't hear me obviously.) so anyway, this hello was more of that reflex kinda hello...but it was louder than i thought...and i think she waved back because she heard my hello and then looked up to see me waving. so then she called out hello, and then i called out hello because i thought i hadn't said hello (even though i had.) yea. i'm sure that wasn't very interesting reading for you lj readers, haha. but for me, i've always wanted to wave at this neighbor and i finally did! i like being neighbor friendly. ok, enough random silliness.
so. i was driving down this san ramon road (this was last week) and it was starting to look more and more familiar. then i suddenly realized where i was and flashed back to a time when I was riding in D's car (along with D, A, and S )down this road with the windows open hands out of the window rowing imaginary water with imaginary paddles. we were taking a "study break" from a retreat nearby and scoping out a place to study. we ended up crashing on some hill across the street from some houses. i wonder what the residents thought. hehe.
