weekend getaway

Last Monday, I decided that I wasn't going to Boracay because it wasn't worth getting failed subjects over. I accompanied my mom while she went shopping for the necessities. Like board shorts for my brothers and a swimsuit for my bratty sister. I felt stupid and a little bit jealous because they all had something new for the trip and all I had was the thought of NOT missing school for a week. NOT GREAT.

And speaking of my little sister (who's not so little anymore since she's as tall as me now), I'm not talking to her. As in, I'm giving her the silent treatment. I was telling her off for being so rude to me in front of so many people but she just rolled her eyes at me and told me, "Whatever, major loser." AJJSDJKJFJF SHE CALLED ME A LOSER!!!

I told my mom (I'm a squealer like that) on her but she just told me that I should handle it on my own. IT SUCKS BECAUSE I KNOW I CAN'T HANDLE IT. There, I said it. Grrrr. How bad is it to have your own little sister pushing you around?

Then, on Tuesday, I perked up a little because of hyde's birthday. The whole family (except me) would be leaving on hyde's birthday and I'll be left at home alone to WATCH L'ARC VIDEOS after school.

But then, it turned out that I could go to Boracay after all, provided that we pay a penalty for rebooking. I didn't want my ticket to go to waste so I went after them last Friday. BY MYSELF. ALL ALONE.

It was my first time riding a plane by myself and it wasn't fun. I felt sick throughout the whole plane ride. My head was throbbing so bad. I had the headache to kill headaches.

Anyway, it's so beautiful here. I've seen pictures but this is my first time seeing the place for real. There are a lot of foreigners here, and they look like they're enjoying the place. All the people are friendly and nice. It's a tropical paradise.

We're going home tomorrow. I think I would have liked if we stayed a bit longer. But we have school and my parents have work so it's not possible. It's nice staying here and just listening to the waves and feeling the sand on your feet. But the internet rental fee is waaaaay too expensive.

yannen out.

family, vacation
