What's going on?
Some stupidity from school (please take note that my classmates are, on average, 17 years old).
"You mean Jack and Rose from the Titanic ISN'T REAL???!!!"
"I like Lea Salonga! She's so pretty! What was that thing she won? Miss Saigon??"
"I can't believe J.K. Rowling sold more books than Stephenie Meyer!"
Someone posted in the bulletin board in front of our locker room -- I forgot the exact thing but it had something to do with Edward, the periodic table of elements and the element of dazzle. Ugh.
And this isn't really stupid, but my professor asked my classmate how old her father is, just to prove a point, a point which was lost on me because I was busy thinking, "DAMNATION! Her father is the same age as L'Arc???"
Greetings, friends. I am still alive.
You'd think that after two semesters, I'd get used to the student's life. But no. It appears that I still suck at time management. So forgive me if I haven't been able to leave a comment or two (or a dozen) lately. I'm such a bad friend. I always dread logging on to my lj account because I keep on thinking that maybe some of my friends are de-friending (?) me because of my neglect. :(
This post is so spastic because I'm spastic. I have so many things I want to say (or write) that all my thoughts are jumbled up.
I had the most shallow dream last night. I dreamt that hyde let himself go. As in, hyde followed in Elvis Presley's career moves and got chubby. In my dream, (in was in a post-apocalyptic world, btw...maybe that explains it!) I was in the airport and this guy was being interviewed by several reporters. He had sunglasses on and that made me recognize him! It was hyde! Except he let himself go in the way that Elvis and Kirstie Alley let themselves go. And just when I was mourning the loss of [my] double-chinless hyde, I woke up.
Disclaimer: I have nothing against horizontally-challenged people, seeing as I'm no pixie myself.
OMG! VAMPS is going to cover "Trouble" by Shampoo. At first, I didn't know what it was, but then I realized that it was that song from the Mighty Morphine' Power Rangers!!! Oh, the days of my youth. Now, I'm so excited! I wonder how hyde will sing that. Maybe he'll sing the chorus parts and bring in Anis for the stanzas? That's what he did for the rap (but then again, is it rap?) part in "Masquerade". Whatever. It will be AWESOME. I can't wait for MARCH 3!!! Which is incidentally my mom's birthday.
And speaking of birthdays, my dad is going to celebrate his on the 24th and I have no idea what to give him. Maybe something that doesn't cost too much? I mean, it's the thought that counts, right? RIGHT??? Right.
And speaking of more birthdays, Belated Happy Birthday to vickienash and SUPER Belated Happy Birthday to vindicated21 !
We're going to the white-sand beaches of Boracay on the 29th! (google it!) But the thing is, I can't skip classes anymore. I've exceeded the maximum number of absences (it's 3, I have 5 absences) and my professor only ignored it because I pleaded with her. If I skip one more class, I'm dead. Ugh. The ticket is non-transferable, non-refundable. Man.
I'll be celebrating my 1st re-birthday on February 10. I don't know if I've told you guys, but that very stupid thing I did back in February (aside from getting kicked out of school) is taking about three handfuls (about 60+) of maximum/extra strength Tylenol. I'm not sure if it's lethal that time, but I figured if I took that many, I'd be dead. But alas and alack, I vomitted and here I am! Why am I being so casual about it? It's over and what I did was stupid. If I don't laugh about it and convince myself it's stupid, I'll probably do it again.
OMG All the Filipinos out there. Have you seen McDonald's new commercial with the Eraserheads' "Ang Huling El Bimbo" playing as BGM??? It's so sweet. So sweet that I want to have a hot fudge sundae with french fries right now.
NICE!!! I SO MISS YOU. I'm sorry I haven't been replying to any of your text messages. I'm using Sun now. Woe! But my Globe sim is still active, the only problem is it doesn't have any load. :( How's your thesis going?
BTW you guys. I'm sick. I have a bad cold. My nose is clogged and stuffy and it's not funny. :(
PS: Have fun at the inauguration, patback409 , and anyone else who's going! I'm happy that Obama won! I hope he lives up to his word.
