Job Interview recap

Sep 26, 2008 00:42

I wasn't going to post anything about my job interview because it went so well and I'm hoping so hard for this job that I didn't want to spoil it.

The job is for a super busy Orthopedic and Sports Medicine with 2 offices in Tomball and The Woodlands. They have 4 doctors and 3 PAs right now and are looking to expand by at least 2-3 more docs and lord knows how many PAs. They are very into the sports medicine side of orthopedics and less of the joint replacement stuff that other orthopedics docs are flocking to. Two of the docs have actually been approached to head up a branch of this sports medicine center that will be opening up in The Woodlands in 2011 so they are expected to grow by leaps and bounds.

My interview was at 11 AM and I didn't leave there until 3:30. I went to the Tomball office first and met 1 of the docs and 1 of the PAs and then went out to lunch with them. After lunch the PA took me to the Woodlands office to meet another doc and another PA. They were just all so nice and wonderful and the PAs spent hours talking to me about working there and other various things.

I want this job so bad. This is the exact job I wanted all throughout my years of PA school. I'd be good at this job and I'd love it everyday. I don't want to get my hopes up because my luck isn't always the greatest *eyeroll* but I want it so bad and I think I deserve a little something good.

trust me; i'm a doctor
