Yesterday, the maillady drove to the back of our house, continued to go around the semicircle back there, and pulled back out of the driveway and stopped at the mailbox and left. I had knew there must of been a package, for she will do this and half the time will either honk or horn, or pretend to an leave. Yesterday was one of them days where she didn't honk her horn. I ran outside to try and catch her but no luck. Our driveway is a good tenth of a mile, and with the ground soaking wet, I could not get out that way fast enough. So today I had to go and pick up the package from the Post Office. No big deal for I had to make an emergency appt. with the dentist for I had a bad toothache. Fixed my tooth for free today, always a plus there, for just spent over a $1,000 getting my teeth fixed. Darn cap ran out a wee bit ago. Anyways, stopped over to the Post Office, thinking the package with either the one that is suppose to be coming from KY or possible the kids' presents from hubby's brother and sil. I picked up the box and walked out to the car. Once there, I looked at the return sender - it was from Anchorage, AK. What a delight to see that! It came from
heartmart! She had been meaning to send this box out for about a year or so, and had a bunch of wonderful goodies in it. A beautiful Christmas wreath made out of wire, glass like marbles, stained glass, so forth...it is beautifully hung on my wall now. Couple of old Christmas movies...a cd that says "Merry Christmas from Alaska 7" (my first peice of Christmas music). Oh, and a vanilla candle with glitter and jewels with a really pretty base. Then for the kids - John M. practically went through the roof with his excitement - recieved the movies "Robots" and "Cars". While Rebekkah has been in her glory with her new doll, a couple doll bottles, and a teddy bear that can go into the microwave to warm up with a scent of lavender. Recieving this had helped change my mood around in a big way. I was having a bad week with my BPD, and was not looking forward to Christmas. Now, I turned the opposite. Which is wonderful for the family and my brother who is coming here tomorrow with his female friend. They will be here to either Christmas night or the next morning. To top it off, we are going to the Independence Bowl next Thurs. - Olkahoma St. vs Alabama. Hubby recieved free tickets from work. It should be a neat experience! I wish ya'll a wonderful, Merry Christmas!!
