The Watterson Arts Festival was disappointing. I realize they have limited resources and a gym is not the optimal place to show art, but that doesn't excuse the poor placement of works. Your "Best In Show" entry was hung WAY too high and the drawing with the hands was WAY too low. That piece spoke to me the most and it was aggravating that I had to practically sit on the floor to take it all in. The drawing of the boy in bed was unceremoniously propped up on the bleachers like an afterthought, and God only knows what happened to your senior info page with photo - or did you even do one? I understand that you're the ONLY person in the world with a life, but it wouldn't have taken that much effort to put one together. Some people do give a damn and are interested in what you might have to say about your art. I wish I could have picked your brain about your drawings. It's enlightening to interact with artists about their work. Wouldn't you love to talk to Gustav Klimt or M.C. Escher or Salvador Dali about some of their pieces - not just "shop talk" about technique or supplies, but deep discourse about that inner knowledge that only artists seem to cultivate? (Why these artists? Because they've come to mind when I've viewed your work.)
Oh well. I'll stop whining. You're off to infinitely bigger and better things now...like dressing up in a tomato costume. I'm impressed.
Also, thanks for describing my previous comments as "post-honorary-doctorate level genius." That's quite flattering considering I've never been to college. What can I say? It takes genius to recognize genius.

yes, I am well aware that there was not a statement present, but what you may be unaware of is that I was never presented with an option to write a senior bio. As in- the information that such a thing existed was never presented to me. so therefore, one could not be constructed for the art show. sorry.
