(no subject)
A customer came into my work this morning, the first customer as a matter of fact. He tried to buy a ten dollar item with a hundred dollar bill. He was elderly and I explained to him that I just didn't have the change in my drawer to accomodate him. He went on to ask me to put the item aside for him, which I did.
Then he stopped, put the bill back into his wallet and looked at me..
"Hold on while I go next door to the grocery store. I have to buy beer, it's time for breakfast isn't it?"
