Yankees considering Mahay in pen
The New York Yankees, attempting to finalize their bullpen situation, are rumored to be considering left-hander Ron Mahay according to Newsday.
Mayhay, 36, who pitched for both the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves in 2007, had a 2.55 ERA in 58 games and 67 innings combined for the Rangers and Braves, holding lefthanded hitters to a .189 batting average.
Mahay's agent, Lonnie Cooper, said yesterday, "There's nothing that's that concrete at this point. We're talking to them."
