Lorraine, Krista, Diana and I trekked through the snow to the college center in order to rent DVD's and get dinner from the Douglass Cafe. On the way back, it was so much fun to just goof off and play in the snow for once. Tomorrow, we can't wait to go sledding down the hill by Old Gibbons...on dining hall trays!!
Yesterday, Rachel and I drove around running errands...we stopped at Home Depot to pick up a shovel so I could shovel out my car and we went to Acme to stock up on "supplies" for the storm. We got chips, salsa, brownie mix, cake mix, icing, ice cream, pudding....the list goes on and on! We actually just put the brownies into the oven....yummy!
The weekend has been kind of lonely since I got out of class on 5:50 PM thursday. GG and CG left thursday night and friday I didn't even have class. I've been bored but I'm beginning to realize that some time to myself has been actually a good thing for me. I've been able to relax, read a few novels and just goof off. This morning thought, I had an alumni meeting which I had a lot of fun at because I got free soda and cookies in exchange for talking about myself for an hour :-)
Now to go devour those triple chunk supreme chocolate brownies.......
