More Type O Negative stuff
So last night I was watching an interview of a different band on youtube when I saw to the right of other vids listed, was a vid for Type O Negative (not sure why THAT ONE video was listed since that wasn't the band I was watching nor had any relations to the person who posted the one I was viewing). *insert spooky music*
Of course I couldn't help but click on the vid of "I don't want to be me" since it was always a goofy vid. Then I started to click on live shows from over in Europe and I got so bummed out (but didn't cry yet), knowing that I will never, ever experience that wonderful feeling of seeing that band live again. I will forever miss that voice of Peter's, no one has ever given me chills like his voice. (listen to the album October Rust and tell me you don't get chills from the whole album!!)
I then came across an interview he did in '07 the covered about what all he went through during that time in his life in regards to family and his self destructive self. I never truly realized just how fucked up he was. He might have felt the way he did about what his sisters did to him but I feel what they did was right. If he couldn't see that he had problems and denied everything the whole time, what else were they to do aside from just letting him kill himself. Something should've clicked in that brain of his when his long-time girlfriend up and leaves him cause she couldn't put up with his shit anymore nor wanted help. I'm sure he was jealous/envious of his band mates cause they were all settled down and started families of their own, except Peter. Just watching that clip, you can tell that he either was on something or how he is while sober, don't know. His actions/behavior and the way he would speak proved that something wasn't right with him. Cocaine, one helluva drug.
He was a true honest smartass who spoke his mind but he also had quite the sense of humor. I truly do hope that he is finally at peace with himself and knowing the fact that he'll be with his parents that apparently, he loved very much (you wouldn't think someone like him could have such a relationship w/their parents like he did. I believe they meant the world to him).
I'm including some of the vids behind the cut that I watched last night including Peter's interview. I didn't realize JUST HOW HUGE this guy was; 6'8 and what's always amazing to me is someone his size, having the singing voice he had.
