Two weeks ago tonight Anthony and I were roaming the French Quarter.
Tonight I'm pondering all that's happened in the past two weeks.
A lot.
Two weeks ago today we flew out of Nashville to New Orleans, arriving a bit before noon, changing planes in Memphis.
We went clubbing Friday and Saturday night, went sightseeing and eating - this is New Orleans, after all - on Friday afternoon and Saturday.
We vegged by the pool on Saturday as well and just vegged in our room on Sunday, although we made one final visit to Café Rose Nicaud on Frenchmen Street early Sunday afternoon before heading for the airport. From NOLA we flew to Houston, then to N'ville.
We got back to N'ville around 8, to Columbia around 9 and I got home to Jackson around 11:30.
Monday and Tuesday I spent in town and preparing for …
Flying home to see my family early Wednesday morning. Changed planes in Altanta.
The weather there in Rochester was almost as warm as New Orleans had been. Since I'm usually only home at Christmas, it was quite a change.
Saturday morning it was back to the airport to Atlanta and then to Memphis.
Six airports. Nine days.
I really don't remember much of the first part of this week - trying to relax before school, but obsessed with getting things done for school.
Thursday was faculty workshop, today was more errand running.
Tomorrow I hope to get to Memphis for my last completely free day for two weeks.
Monday is late registration.
Tuesday classes begin.
I'm ready for May Term already.
