48 days left, y'all!

Guys, I'm so happy! Well, not so much anymore, because my computer just shut down, so I have to do this all over again. Why? Because, as the old song line says --

"I'm free, I'm free!"

*sigh* So happy. Free from what, though? From thinking. From school. From the absolutely suckish week that I had. What happened, you say? Lotsa stuff.

FIRST, George decided to be all evil and stuff and not tell me why. AND, if I wanted anything done about it, I would have to do it. It was terrible. So what's a girl to do?

Call him, of course. What ELSE would I do?

So anyway, I think that's all right now. At least he's speaking to me again. And then on Tuesday, I got really pissed off in Spanish for no reason, really, which was annoying. I hate it when I get mad without reason. It's dumb. *growls* Stupid -- stupid -- something. *sigh*

So anyway, on Wednesday, I got sick. Really sick. We're talking, I can't breathe sick. And I'm coughing, choking, eyes streaming, trying not to cough in Matins. It was pretty awful. And I'm still sick. And I don't feel good. And nature has decided to be CRUEL to me. I'm hungry. My throat hurts. The sunless tanner didn't work properly. This car smells weird.

Now that I'm done complaining for today (I think), Friday actually went very well. It was really fun, I would venture to say. We got the YEARBOOKS! Yeah! So, in the tradition of Spontaneous Affection Day, we got to run around screaming stuff. 'Cept, instead of screaming "Happy S.A.D.!" we were all like "Sign my yearbook!" It was incredibly fun.

BUT, back to the beautiful and amazing thing that it SUNLESS TANNER. Oh, y'all should see it! It's hilarious! I actually managed to create tanlines with bronzer. It's SOOOO funny. I have this gigantic blotch on my back -- ya know, *assumes French accent* "And scratch that spot on our backs we cannot reach no matter how hard we try. Haha. *drops accent* And there's this spot on my knee that's really ridiculous. Ya know, I tried to blend up to the rough spot on my knee, but not on it? Well, suffice it to say that I achieved neither goal. *shakes head* It's absolutely pathetic.

But nonetheless, things are looking up for the future. I'm really happy, and I have a glorious three days ahead of me in which I have to do nothing. I'm so excited! Now, in tribute to the old songline --

Oppression was in session and my life was the term
But when I heard about the Word I was willing to learn
About a flavor I could savor and a brighter tomorrow
Cause this could never be endeavored by a wish on a star
The Father first receives us, the Truth then frees us
Forgiven, now I'm living like a man full of Jesus
It was hell until I fell upon my knees and prayed
But now the yoke that I was totin' has been taken away

(repeat chorus 1)

Cause I'm free, free at last, free
From my past, free from sin, and I'm free
And down on my knees when my life passed me by
And I ain't, no I ain't going back again

F R to the E E
L A to the S T
Out of the darkness, the Father has sparked this
The spirit's alive while the flesh is a carcass
If you're seriously curious about my past
Well I was once lost but I'm free at last

I'm here to tell you what he did for me and
I'm here to tell you that he set me free and
I know that He can do the same for you, too
He did it, I'm wit it, so come and get it
Be free at last!

When all of God's children: black men and white men,
Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics
Will be able to join hands and
Sing in the words of the old negro spiritual...

Cause I'm free, free at last, cause I'm free
I'm free, I'm free, I'm free, I'm free, I'm free
Down on my knees when my life passed me by
And I ain't, no I ain't going back again
Thank God I'm free

Free at last, free at last
Thank God almighty we are free at last

*sigh* Thanks God almighty, we are free at last. That's it. I'm checking out now. No more of this insanity. Fare thee well, good fellows. Love y'all! See ya Tuesday!
