Good Old Times
Livejournal.. my old friend.. it's been awhile.
As I've been on a upteen month hiatus from writing.. I'm not going to fill you in on everything that's happening in my life, thats ridiculous. I will say that things have been going, whether they be going well or not well will be told in due time.
Laura and I are quickly approaching our 3 year anniversary. I have to say that I couldn't be happier, really, she is everything I could ever want in my significant other. I know older, "wiser" folks wrinkle their noses in disgust and ask, "Well what do you know about love?" Honestly, I think I know about the same about as you do.. nothing. Love is a day to day thing, not that you love a different person everyday, but in that there are new challenges to face everyday and so love between two people is constantly evolving and fitting to each situation. I do know just one thing though and that is that I want to explore every possibility of love with just one person and I think she knows who she is :)
Changing things up a bit.. I just completed all my applications for dental school.. all $700 worth of them. Yes, you read that right, seven hundred dollars just to have them consider me as a possible applicant, that doesn't even come with a complementary interview.. I have to earn that. All that being said, it should be obvious why I'm a bit concerned about this whole process. I don't even have a back-up plan if things don't go as planned.. So, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed they find it in their heart to take a dedicated student whose life goal is to become a dentist.
Other than that.. I'm just working at a crappy job, not looking forward to classes in the fall and trying to have some fun this summer.
