Hahahaha. That is awesome.

There is one good thing about emo kids, however: they single-handedly saved Converses from extinction.

I remember about 4 years ago there were few Converse to be had; our insider Indian shoe store person told us that they were bankrupt as hell, and would be producing only 3 colors (black, red and blue I think). So, we better snap up different colors at his store (naturally) and on eBay while we had the chance.

Well, lo and behold Nike bought Converse (I think that's how it went) and was selling them like hotcakes due to the demand from the emo kids.
