I had a friend that was invited to a party to spend the night and drink with a bunch of people she didnt know well. I talked her out of it, and told her that they will probibly rape her when shes drunk. It kinda scared her, but I would rather that she be scared than have to deal with another friend getting hurt.
Which leads me to my next point. People are evil and disgusting. I joke around about people and their fluids, but seriously, what base disire would cause you to take pictures of yourself having sex with a 9 year old? or their own child? And how are these people released back into society? I doubt many would agree, but these people need to be executed. and not in the nice, leathal injection way, but Hitman style.
Sometimes I look around me, and just want to run away to alaska or montana, miles from everyone, and protect my future children. All I see are evil people and people who are too busy or apathetic to care. Or "someone else will take care of it", and "it doesnt effect me"
Im not saying that people should risk there life all the time for others, but how many times in school have you seen someone screwing with the nerdy kid? or let some girl go part with the wrestling team, and she came back assaulted?
Just speak out. you may be a voice on the wind, but some one is sure to hear it and stand with you
